GURUGRAM: Gurugram University on Friday, November 6, 2026, posted tentative undergraduate and postgraduate examination timetables with a November 11 deadline for students to report discrepancies. The schedules affect regular and reappear candidates in specified non NEP courses. The university, which has campuses in Sector 51 and Sector 87, says a final timetable will be released later on its website.
The two documents cover odd semester examinations described as the December 2026 session, although their opening entries are dated November 26. Students therefore need to check their individual paper rows rather than assume that every examination starts in December. Both documents identify programmes, semesters, subjects, paper identifiers and morning or evening shifts.
Which courses the new sheets cover
The undergraduate sheet covers non NEP courses and expressly excludes B.Pharmacy, B.Tech and B.Voc. The postgraduate and integrated course sheet also covers non NEP examinations, with M.Pharmacy and M.Tech excluded. These scope conditions appear in the document titles. Candidates in an excluded course should not treat a similarly named subject in either sheet as their own examination instruction.
The university's official notices index lists both timetable publications under November 6. The undergraduate and postgraduate schedules are separate downloads. Each ends with the same practical instruction: students who identify a discrepancy may report it to conduct@gurugramuniversity.ac.in by November 11, 2026. Neither note specifies a closing hour in IST for that date.
The documents remain tentative. Their closing notes explicitly say the final date sheet will be released later on the university website. The publication therefore opens a correction opportunity before finalisation, while giving candidates a paper by paper draft to examine. It does not establish that every row will necessarily remain unchanged in the final version.
- Publication date on the university index: November 6, 2026.
- Discrepancy reporting deadline: November 11, 2026.
- Reporting address: conduct@gurugramuniversity.ac.in.
- First listed examination date in both documents: November 26, 2026.
- Status: tentative, with final sheets to follow on the university website.
Undergraduate papers start in the evening entries
The opening undergraduate entries for November 26 are in the evening shift and include third semester subjects across several programmes. Bachelor of Commerce lists Human Resource Management with paper ID 13624. The economics honours programme lists Statistics for Economic Analysis I, paper ID 13537. For journalism and mass communication, Media and Society carries paper ID 11241.
The same date includes Human Resource Management in Tourism for the Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management, paper ID 11221. Mathematics students will find Probability Distributions under the mathematics honours programme with paper ID 13765. The science rows also include Plant Anatomy, paper ID 13663, and Partial Differential Equations, paper ID 13660, in the evening shift.
The sheet contains rows for both Bachelor of Science and the four year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. course. Some subjects and paper IDs recur across those programmes. This makes the programme and semester columns essential when identifying the relevant entry. A matching subject title alone is insufficient to establish which row applies to a particular student's course.
Postgraduate entries use a different shift pattern
The opening postgraduate entries on November 26 are in the morning shift. Third semester Master of Commerce lists Corporate Tax, paper ID 963. The English programme lists English Literature (1914-1950), paper ID 14794, while mathematics lists Functional Analysis, paper ID 15082. Geography of Transport appears for third semester geography with paper ID 14811.
On November 27, the postgraduate sheet lists first semester Master of Commerce Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting, paper ID 275, in the morning. First semester economics lists Macro Economics I, paper ID 14733. The chemistry programme lists Organic Chemistry I, paper ID 14616. These examples illustrate why the date, semester and shift need to be read together.
Integrated programmes also have evening entries. On November 27, fifth semester integrated Master of Business Administration lists Managerial Economics, paper ID 15107, in the evening. Integrated Master of Commerce lists fifth semester Income Tax, paper ID 15394, in that shift. The postgraduate document consequently should not be read as a timetable with only morning sittings.
These new sheets concern examination scheduling. Earlier university announcements address different administrative steps, including exam forms for new admissions and registration returns. The site's report on previous examination review results provides separate results background. Candidates should use the newly posted draft relevant to their programme when checking discrepancies before November 11.
