GURUGRAM: Gurugram University published a revised registration return schedule on Monday, November 2, 2026, setting November 11 as the deadline for specified undergraduate and postgraduate returns without a late fee. The notice, carrying the university's Sector 51 address, is directed to teaching department heads and principals of affiliated colleges for the 2026-27 session.

The schedule excludes B.Pharmacy, B.Tech and B.Ed from its stated scope. Students in those programmes should use their own applicable notices. For the courses covered here, the university requires institutions to submit both the prescribed records and documents establishing student eligibility, with the hard copy reaching the Registration Branch.

What colleges have to submit

The five page registration notice calls for computer typed returns on A3 paper. Handwritten returns will not be accepted. It identifies RF-1, RF-2 and RF-6 as the prescribed formats and also requires admitted student details in RF-10A, alongside attested supporting documents and original migration certificates.

The university asks colleges and teaching departments to provide a soft copy as well. Its Registration Branch will upload the information on the Samarth portal after university registration numbers have been allotted. Submitting the soft copy therefore does not remove the requirement for the institution to deliver its hard copy within the prescribed period.

The forms serve different groups. RF-1 is for students registering with the university for the first time after qualifying through the Haryana school education board or the Haryana State Technical Education Board. RF-2 is for those qualifying through other institutions. RF-6 covers students who are already registered with Gurugram University.

Principals and department heads are responsible for checking eligibility and the institution's affiliation or extension of affiliation for the relevant course and sanctioned intake. The notice places responsibility for ineligible, irregular or excess admissions on the institution concerned. It also requires evidence of equivalence for qualifying examinations where applicable.

Deadline, payment and document checks

  • Session: 2026-27.
  • General scope: the UG and PG returns described in the notice, with B.Pharmacy, B.Tech and B.Ed excluded.
  • Hard copy deadline without late fee: November 11, 2026.
  • Paper and format: computer typed, A3 size, using the prescribed return forms.
  • Submission office: the university Registration Branch.

Affiliated colleges must pay the applicable fees online through the university's designated payment route. The notice does not accept another payment mode. It also says return documents, fees and fines will not be entertained through email, so an emailed set of records cannot substitute for the stated submission process.

University teaching departments are treated differently for the registration return charge. The notice says no separate registration return fee is payable by those departments because it is included in the fee collected at admission. That provision concerns the return charge and should be read within the university's full fee instructions.

The document contains separate provisions for late returns and missing documents. It says late fees can apply when an institution fails to deliver the hard copy in time. Institutions should use the full schedule for their particular case, rather than assume that the absence of a late fee up to November 11 removes the underlying registration charges.

Registration returns and exam forms have separate schedules

The university notice board also carries a separate November 2 entry concerning December examination forms. These are different administrative processes. Students can check with their college whether their registration records and examination form have each been completed under the relevant instructions.

Earlier coverage of the pharmacy registration schedule concerns a separate programme. Other university reporting includes deputation vacancies, while the school support meeting in Gurugram covers a different education initiative. None changes the scope of this UG and PG return notice.
