NCERT's official Exemplar Problems page provides Class 10 science and mathematics PDFs by unit, with separate answer files and Hindi sections. Open the Class X section, choose the subject and select a unit to read or download. Use these files as practice material after checking the chapter against your current school syllabus; the resource index is not itself a new board examination syllabus.

The official Exemplar Problems index is the useful starting point because it places the question files beside their corresponding answers. A saved chapter PDF can be helpful, but the index makes it easier to confirm that you have chosen the right class, subject and language before you start work.

How to download NCERT Exemplar Class 10 science PDF

On the index, select the Class X tab or move to that section. Under Science, choose the unit by its title. The listed examples include Chemical Reactions and Equations, Acids, Bases and Salts, Life Processes, Light, Electricity and Our Environment. Selecting a title opens the relevant PDF rather than a registration form.

The Chemical Reactions and Equations file, for example, includes questions on classifying reactions, oxidation and reduction, and interpreting chemical equations. Use the chapter title and the content inside the file to check that it is the practice unit you intended to open.

Once the PDF is open, use your browser or PDF reader's download control to keep a personal study copy. Give it a filename that identifies Class 10, the subject, language and unit. Saving several files with generic names such as “chapter one” makes it unnecessarily difficult to distinguish science questions from mathematics questions later.

The science section includes an Answers link after its unit and sample paper entries. Return to that section when checking work rather than taking an answer file from a different class. Question numbering can restart in another chapter or exercise, so the number alone is not enough to identify the correct answer.

Where are Class 10 maths Exemplar answers?

The Mathematics section lists units including Real Numbers, Polynomials, pairs of linear equations, quadratic equations, arithmetic progressions, triangles, coordinate geometry and circles. It also includes statistics and probability, followed by question paper design entries and an Answers link. Choose the chapter title first, then match the exercise when checking your solution.

The official Class 10 mathematics answer file is arranged by exercise. It includes selected answers and explanatory working for some questions. It should not be described as a separate detailed solution manual for every question simply because the search phrase contains the word “solutions”.

For a mathematics mistake, compare your method as well as the final value. A matching answer can still hide an unsupported step, while a wrong value may come from one arithmetic slip. Keep the original working visible when you consult the answer file so you can identify what actually needs revision.

Are NCERT Exemplar PDFs available in Hindi?

Yes. The Class X index has separate गणित and विज्ञान headings, with Hindi unit links and answer material. These appear alongside the English Mathematics and Science sections. Students studying in Hindi should select the Hindi section deliberately rather than expecting an English PDF to change language after it has opened.

Check the title inside the downloaded file too. Similar unit names and nearby links make it easy to open another subject or language accidentally. When using an answer key, match the question's wording, exercise and numbering with the question file in front of you before treating an apparent disagreement as an error.

Does the Exemplar index confirm the latest CBSE syllabus?

No. The index is a collection of practice resources. Its Class 10 lists include older chapter groupings and question paper design files, so their presence should not be read as confirmation that every listed topic is examinable in your current session. Start with the syllabus prescribed by your school and board, then choose relevant Exemplar questions.

For the same reason, do not treat an Exemplar sample paper entry as a substitute for the board's current sample question paper and marking scheme. Use the practice resource to work on concepts, while using current board documents to understand the examination structure applicable to your class and session.

A manageable approach is to attempt a small set independently, check the official answers and write down the concept behind each error. Revisit the related textbook explanation before attempting another set. This gives the answer file a clear role and avoids turning practice into copying a finished response.

Our separate guides explain NCERT textbook downloads, DIKSHA lessons linked to textbook codes and CBSE's current sample paper resources. Keep the textbook, Exemplar practice file and board marking scheme identifiable in your study folder so that each answers the question it was designed to address.
