GURUGRAM: Museo Camera in DLF Phase IV has posted a second block of October programmes on its events calendar, covering 17 to 24 October. The museum's own event pages list a two-day book exchange, two author interviews, a Thumri music sitting and a ticketed film screening. Most of those cards are marked free to drop in, while the film carries a register button and a fee of Rs 350.
The museum stands on Shri Ganesh Mandir Marg in Sector 28. Its visit page keeps hours of 11 am to 7 pm and says Mondays are closed. Visitors heading only for an evening talk should still ask whether a free session includes gallery entry, because the events listing does not always spell that out beside the title and time.
A Day for Book Lovers opens the stretch. The exchange runs on Friday, 17 October, and Saturday, 18 October, from 11 am to 7 pm, and the page marks it free. It does not say how many volumes a visitor may bring, whether books must be in English or Hindi, or whether children's titles are welcome, so those are questions for the desk on the day.
The Seamus Murphy photography exhibition Life is in Many Days remains on the walls until 25 October, which means the book exchange overlaps the last week of the show. Dalimss News has already reported the Seamus Murphy exhibition at Museo Camera and the 3 to 11 October screenings and talks. This piece stays on the mid-month block so the calendars do not blur.
Thursday, 23 October, shows two evening titles in the same 5 pm to 7 pm window. Days of Recovery is billed as an author interview and is free to drop in. The Lotus and The Swan is billed as a film screening at Rs 350 with a register button. The listing does not say whether both share one hall, so buying a film ticket without asking is a risk if you also want the talk.
Friday music, tickets and practical gaps
Friday, 24 October, stacks music and politics on overlapping clocks. Thumri aur uski vidhaye - Music at Museo runs from 5.30 pm to 7 pm and is free. How Prime Ministers Decide - An Author Interview is timed 6 pm to 7.15 pm, also free. Anyone hoping to hear both will need the museum to explain how the rooms are split that night before they travel.
None of the mid-October cards publish speaker names beyond the title line, film synopses, language of the session or seating caps. The museum's phone line remains +91 9810752279. Counter tickets on the visit page are still listed at Rs 200 for Indian nationals, Rs 300 for foreign nationals and Rs 150 for an audio guide, as read on 4 October 2026.
Phase IV readers can fold the museum into a wider Saturday that already includes Galleria Market and the Pilates studio that prints "beside Galleria Market" on its own site. The photography floors remain the main daytime draw until 25 October. The book exchange suits visitors who prefer to browse shelves rather than sit through a talk.
Parking, rain cover and whether school-age children may attend the evening interviews are not stated on the event pages. Those gaps matter on a Friday night when Sector 28 roads clog. Call before you leave if you are coming with family or need accessible seating.
Silent Book Club dates appear elsewhere on the listing, including older cards that still resolve on the site, so always open the specific event URL and read the year before you travel. For 17 to 24 October, the five titles above are the ones with live October 2026 dates on the museum's own pages.
Fees and free-drop-in labels are taken only from the museum event URLs. If a register button fails on the night, use the phone line rather than a reseller.
