BENGALURU: Lumio, the consumer electronics brand run by Circuit House Technologies, has put up an official product page for the Aura 5, a pair of powered hi-fi bookshelf speakers made in Haryana. A banner on the Aura page shows an early bird price of Rs 19,999, which the company notes is inclusive of coupons and offers, and says the sale "starts soon" on the Lumio Store and Amazon.in. That is how the page read on 6 October 2026, about 10:50 AM IST.

Lumio has so far been known for its Vision smart TVs and Arc projectors. The Aura 5 is its first serious audio product, and the brand is pitching it at people who want proper stereo sound without buying a separate amplifier or AV receiver.

What the Aura 5 spec sheet says

Each cabinet carries a 1-inch silk dome tweeter and a 4.5-inch woofer with an aluminium diaphragm. Lumio rates the pair at 100 W RMS at 1 percent THD and 200 W peak. The official frequency response is 40 Hz to 20 kHz within 3 dB, measured in an anechoic chamber, and the company claims in-room bass extension down to 32 Hz at 80 dB.

The page also lists continuous sound pressure of 105 dB(C) at 1 metre, a maximum of 112 dB(C), and a signal-to-noise ratio above 77 dBA. Lumio says its loudness and frequency measurements were taken in a living room using REW software and a measurement microphone, so treat them as the brand's own test figures rather than lab certification.

The cabinets use high-density acoustic grade wood with a curved front baffle. There are three chrome-plated knobs for bass, treble and volume, and a small Minion OLED remote that shows the current input and sound mode. Three tuning modes are offered: Studio for a balanced sound, Cinema with more emphasis on the high frequencies, and Groove with extra bass.

Connections, size and who builds it

Connectivity is broad for the category. The pair has HDMI 2.0 with ARC and CEC, so the TV remote can control power and volume. There is also optical, coaxial, RCA AUX, USB 2.0 Type-A and Bluetooth 5.4. Lumio says lossless playback is supported up to 24-bit and 48 kHz on digital inputs, with FLAC files supported over USB.

Each speaker box measures 174 x 273 x 235 mm. The right speaker weighs 3.1 kg and the left 2.92 kg, and the retail box comes in at 8 kg. Power draw is listed at 40 W. In the box you get both speakers, the remote, an HDMI cable, a speaker cable, a power cord and two AAA batteries.

The page names India as the country of origin. Circuit House Technologies Private Limited, based in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, markets the product, while Winsharp Electronics Private Limited manufactures it at Dharuhera in Rewari district, Haryana. Lumio's own newsroom describes how the company began with a $4.3 million raise led by a former chief business officer of Xiaomi India.

For readers comparing home audio before Diwali, our report on the Noise HomeStage soundbar at Rs 4,999 covers the budget end, while the Devialet Phantom Ultimate India price sits at the luxury end. Before stacking card discounts, read our explainer on festive sale dates and card offer fine print.

A few cautions. The Rs 19,999 figure is an early bird price that already counts coupons and offers, so the amount you pay may depend on which offers apply to you on sale day. The sale date was not printed on the page we checked. Lumio's customer care is listed as support@lumio.co.in. Check the final cart price and return terms before you order.

Lumio is not new to festive launches. Its newsroom records earlier launches of the Vision 7 and Vision 9 smart TVs and the Arc 5 and Arc 7 projectors, so the Aura 5 extends an existing product family rather than starting a new brand.

Passive bookshelf speakers usually need an amplifier, and soundbars rarely give true left and right separation. The Aura 5 is trying to sit between the two, and whether it works will come down to how it sounds in a real Indian living room, not just on the spec sheet.
