A specific store listing, with a specific bundle
The amount is attached to this model on Lenovo's store network, where delivery and store selection depend on location. It should be read as the displayed listing price, not as a promise that every outlet has the same inventory or can deliver immediately. The page identifies the full model code, which is essential when comparing quotations.
For a student working mainly on essays, presentations and browser research, the combination deserves examination as an everyday computing configuration. That is an inference from its specifications, not a benchmark result. The software bundle is part of the calculation because it may affect what the owner needs to arrange after setup.
The Office edition changes the ownership calculation
Microsoft says support for Office 2021 ended on 13 October 2026, with no extension or extended security updates. Applications may continue to run, but Microsoft no longer supplies the security fixes, bug fixes or technical support covered by that lifecycle.
A newly acquired laptop does not restart the support clock for the software included with it. In this case, the useful comparison is between the hardware being offered and the applications the student or employer intends to maintain. The word Office on a specification sheet is not enough to establish that the bundled edition remains supported.
Microsoft advises users with software managed by a workplace or school to follow that organisation's upgrade arrangements. For this Lenovo, an institution-provided application plan could therefore matter more than the presence of the older preload. No replacement software price has been added to the laptop figure here.
The USB-C socket has a defined job
Lenovo's platform reference identifies the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port as supporting data transfer only. Charging uses the round-tip power connection, and the published display connection is HDMI. A user building a desk around a USB-C monitor should not infer charging and video support from the connector's shape.
This is an unusually important distinction for a low-cost office setup. A laptop can have the right-looking port while still requiring separate power and display cables. Checking the monitor's intended connection before arranging the desk avoids designing the setup around a capability the laptop does not advertise.
The same reference lists an SD card reader and conventional USB ports. That offers more than one route for moving files or attaching existing peripherals, but the ports should be matched by function. A simple list of sockets gives less useful information than knowing which one handles the display.
Memory and SSD labels need separate reading
The platform documentation confirms that memory is soldered, with no memory slots. The 8GB configuration consequently has no published RAM-module upgrade path. The SSD is a different component, so a storage change would not increase the memory available to running applications.
There is another detail behind the store's PCIe Gen4 drive description. Lenovo's PSREF says drives on this platform operate closer to PCIe 3.0 x2 because of platform limitations. The drive's interface label therefore should not be presented as a measured transfer speed for the complete laptop.
Who it is for
This configuration fits the discussion for a student with defined application needs or an office using a modest, established workflow. Its Full HD screen provides a clear specification to compare, but the TN panel designation should stay attached to that description. It should not acquire the IPS properties of another IdeaPad variant by association.
The more demanding scenario is someone expecting a future RAM upgrade, a single USB-C connection for an entire desk, or a currently supported Office package included without further arrangements. Those expectations need to be resolved against this model's documentation before judging the overall package.
