GURUGRAM: Haryana Women Development Corporation distributed loan subsidy cheques worth about Rs 6.70 lakh to 34 beneficiaries at Prajapati Dharamshala in Jacobpura on Monday, November 2, 2026. Corporation chairperson Sunita Dangi attended the programme, according to a Haryana government release published at 5.21 pm IST that day.
The payments were made under the individual loan scheme, which supports women taking up self employment. The Jacobpura programme concerned subsidy assistance to the identified beneficiaries. It did not announce a new application deadline or say that every woman attending would receive the same amount.
What was distributed in Jacobpura
The official account of the programme gives the beneficiary count and approximate combined subsidy amount. It does not publish the individual cheques, the underlying bank loans or a breakdown by business activity. The Rs 6.70 lakh figure should therefore be understood as the reported subsidy total, rather than the full value of all business finance associated with the programme.
Dangi encouraged women to consider activities suited to their skills and interests. The examples in the release include tailoring, beauty services, small enterprises and other forms of self employment. Those examples describe the opportunities discussed at the meeting; they do not establish which businesses the 34 beneficiaries operate or how much income they earn.
District manager Deshraj and lead district manager Vinod Bajaj were among the officials listed as attending. Representatives associated with the corporation, rural livelihoods work and banking support were also present. The release reports the distribution of assistance, but offers no assessment of subsequent business performance or employment created.
- Programme date: November 2, 2026.

How the individual loan scheme is structured
The corporation's published scheme page sets out a financing arrangement that combines a beneficiary contribution, subsidy and bank loan. It describes assistance for economically viable projects costing no more than Rs 1.50 lakh. That project cost ceiling is different from the smaller subsidy ceiling.
The page specifies a subsidy of 25 per cent, capped at Rs 10,000 for other categories and Rs 25,000 for Scheduled Caste applicants. It dates those provisions to November 15, 2019. These are existing scheme conditions available on the corporation's website, rather than new subsidy rates announced at Monday's event.
Beneficiaries contribute 10 per cent and the balance loan component comes from commercial or nationalised banks, according to the same page. The stated age range is 18 to 60 years when applying. It also specifies an annual income ceiling of Rs 1.80 lakh and says the applicant's spouse or parents must not be income tax payers.
Applicants should check those conditions against their own circumstances through the scheme's official process. Monday's release does not announce a waiver of eligibility checks, repayment terms or the beneficiary contribution. Nor does the distribution of cheques amount to an assurance that another applicant will receive approval.
Where residents can check the service route
The Women and Child Development Department's Right to Service notice board lists the Individual Loan Scheme with a 30 day service time limit and directs applicants to the Antyodaya SARAL portal. The board cites the June 22, 2022 notification. This is the department's published service listing, not a new deadline starting from the Jacobpura programme.
For other local livelihood information, earlier reports cover unemployment allowance applications, insurance for beekeeping assets and offer letters recorded at the Sector 14 job fair. Each concerns a separate programme with its own conditions. The newly confirmed local action here is the November 2 subsidy distribution in Jacobpura.
