To get a CBSE marksheet through DigiLocker, begin at the official CBSE Academic Repository, choose Digital Documents and follow its Go to DigiLocker link. Students whose school activated their account through the access code route should look in Issued Documents. The school's access code helps confirm an account; it is not the marksheet itself.
The CBSE repository provides a public route to digital marksheets, passing certificates and migration certificates. Its homepage also has separate result links. Choosing a result link and obtaining an issued academic certificate are related tasks, but students should make sure they obtain the document their school, college or employer has actually requested.
| What you need | Official route |
|---|---|
| Digital academic document | CBSE repository, then Digital Documents |
| Existing DigiLocker account | Go to DigiLocker from the certificate page |
| School access code | Ask the school that supplied the candidate record |
| Record correction | Raise the issue with the school, which has a correction request facility |
How to open the CBSE DigiLocker marksheet page
The public route checked on 27 October 2026 starts at the repository homepage. Select Digital Documents to reach the certificate page. That page directs students to DigiLocker through the Go to DigiLocker link. Use your own account to access the issued certificate associated with your examination record.
After opening the certificate, check the name, examination year, class and roll number before using it in an application. A downloaded file should belong to the correct examination record, particularly if you have both Class 10 and Class 12 documents in the same account. Keeping the files clearly named can prevent an accidental upload of the wrong certificate.
What is the six digit CBSE access code?
CBSE's 5 May 2025 circular and attached student manual describe a school supplied, six digit access code for account confirmation. These are documented activation instructions, not a new announcement that codes have been issued for another examination year.
- The manual directs students to the CBSE DigiLocker account confirmation page and the Get Started with Account Confirmation option.
- Select Class X or XII, enter the school code, roll number and six digit access code, then choose Next.
- Check the displayed basic details and enter your contact number. The manual says Class XII students may also be asked for their date of birth.
- Enter the OTP received and submit it to complete confirmation.
- Follow Go to DigiLocker account and look for the marksheet cum certificate and migration certificate in Issued Documents after publication.
If the school supplied a code beginning with zero, retain that zero. The manual specifically illustrates a six digit code with a leading zero. If you have not received the code, the documented route is to obtain it from your school, rather than treating part of the roll number as a substitute.
Why is my CBSE marksheet not in Issued Documents?
The manual distinguishes accounts activated using the school access code from accounts created through general DigiLocker registration. For the former, marksheets are pushed to Issued Documents. For the latter, the student must search for and fetch the marksheet by entering the required search details.
A missing document therefore needs a check of the account route and examination details before assuming that the result is unavailable. The repository's school section also allows schools to request corrections to students' demographic information. Downloading the same certificate again does not itself correct the underlying board record.
