New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for post-result facilities for students who appeared for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can now apply for a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book, followed by verification of marks and re-evaluation, as per the schedule notified by the board.

According to the CBSE notice dated August 27, students will first have to obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book before applying for verification of marks or re-evaluation. The board has specified separate dates and fees for each stage of the process.

CBSE Class 12 Supplementary 2026: Important Dates and Other Details

₹100 per subject for scanned copy of evaluated answer book : August 31–September 1, 2026.

₹100 per answer book for verification of marks : September 7–8, 2026.

₹100 per question for re-evaluation : September 7–8, 2026

Students who wish to challenge their marks must first apply for the scanned copy of their evaluated answer book. After receiving the copy, they can check for discrepancies in evaluation, totaling of marks or marks entered on the cover page.

Re-evaluation Process

CBSE has clarified that re-evaluation requests will be accepted only for the theory portion of the examination and must be made for the entire question, rather than a part of a question. The application and fee payment process will be conducted online through the prescribed CBSE portal.

Candidates should note that the outcome of the re-evaluation process will be treated as final. CBSE has also stated that even a decrease of one mark resulting from re-evaluation will be taken into account.

The board has advised students to follow the prescribed schedule carefully, as applications submitted after the deadline or through offline mode will not be accepted.

Students are therefore advised to keep track of the respective deadlines and complete the application process within the specified dates.
