NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki's Super Carry has the lower published entry figure in this comparison, at Rs 5,06,100 ex-showroom in its current product FAQ. Mahindra's regular Bolero Pik-Up selector begins at Rs 9,35,100 for the entry labelled PIK-UP CBC 4WD DIESEL. The figures describe different product ranges and configurations, rather than equivalent finished cargo vehicles.

The entry figure is only the opening comparison

The Super Carry is offered as Petrol STD, Petrol Cab Chassis, CNG STD and CNG Cab Chassis. Its published maximum load is 750 kg for petrol and 630 kg for CNG. The different carrying capacities matter when discussing the same model with different fuel systems.

Bolero Pik-Up's selector presents a different collection of working configurations. Its flatbed descriptions distinguish manual steering, power steering and air conditioning, and it also includes four-wheel-drive entries. The lowest listed chassis vehicle should not be presented as the delivered cost of a completed flatbed with identical equipment.

This is the central limitation of comparing the headline amounts. A chassis can be the starting point for a purpose-built body, while a deck-equipped vehicle already answers part of the loading requirement. A shop's replenishment run and a contractor's vehicle for rough access tracks may both count as commercial work, but they ask different things of the vehicle.

Super Carry's safety update deserves attention

Maruti Suzuki's equipment announcement describes the addition of Electronic Stability Program, along with ABS, electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, engine drag control, rollover prevention and hydraulic brake assist. It also identifies front disc brakes, reverse parking sensors and seat-belt reminders.

The same official release describes a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine and a five-speed manual transmission. Those details explain the Super Carry's mechanical brief more clearly than treating the lower entry price as its only defining feature. The release's older launch prices are not used for the current comparison.

Our existing EV battery rental explained: BaaS prices for Punch.ev, Syros EV, Creta, BE 6 covers the four-way petrol, CNG and body-style split. Here the question is narrower: what the currently readable official prices establish when placed alongside Mahindra's separate pickup family.

Bolero Pik-Up's refresh focuses on the working cabin

Mahindra's January 2026 announcement describes a revised front design, a reclining driver's seat with a headrest and a wider co-driver seat for the regular Bolero Pik-Up. Heating and air conditioning were introduced as part of the update. The selector continues to distinguish AC-labelled entries, so equipment must be checked against the chosen description.

That cabin emphasis has a particular relevance in goods transport. The driving portion of a shift can be interrupted by loading, waiting and unloading, and comfort equipment remains useful during those periods. However, an AC badge does not establish the body specification, drivetrain or final carrying allowance of a vehicle.

For wider commercial mobility context, our reports on Mahindra BE 6 price list: Rs 19.45 lakh to Rs 26.95 lakh, XEV 9e from Rs 21.90 lakh and Mahindra Bolero Neo price: Rs 9.06 lakh to Rs 10.85 lakh for five diesel variants track other parts of the market. They do not supply prices for either vehicle compared here.

Keep the final description attached to the price

A useful comparison records the complete variant name, fuel, steering specification, body and included equipment beside the amount. It also separates insurance, registration and body work. These official readings establish that Super Carry has the lower published starting figure; they do not establish that the two entry vehicles perform the same transport job.
