NEW DELHI: Ambrane lists the Stellar 20K power bank at Rs 2,199, inclusive of taxes, in Orange on its official India product page. The 20,000mAh model uses what Ambrane describes as a semi-solid battery and advertises a maximum output of 22.5W. Its user manual expressly excludes Type-C laptop charging.

What the semi-solid label tells you

Stellar 20K's distinguishing feature is its battery description. Ambrane markets the semi-solid construction as offering lower flammability and a longer life than conventional batteries. These are company claims. The listing does not provide a quantified improvement in lifespan or a comparative test result that would establish the size of either benefit.

That distinction matters when reading the product's safety artwork. A battery-construction label does not remove the need to follow the model's operating instructions. The manual still directs users to stop using the unit if it bulges, smells or leaks. The price should be read alongside those instructions, rather than treating the chemistry description as a reason to overlook a damaged battery.

The ports have different maximum ratings

The headline 22.5W figure belongs to the USB-A output rating. The official specification lists a maximum of 22W for Type-C output and 20W for Type-C input. For an owner replacing an older charger, those are distinct limits: the rating for refilling the power bank is different from the rating for charging a connected device.

Ambrane lists PD 3.0, QC 3.0, PPS and VOOC support. A phone-and-cable combination still needs to match the relevant charging method. Our Ambrane Stylo N20 vs N10 price: N10 starts lower at Rs 1,299 provides background for interpreting these labels without assuming every connected device will receive the maximum wattage.

The manual's laptop exclusion deserves particular attention. A shopper might associate a large battery figure and a Type-C socket with laptop support, but the Stellar 20K instructions say that use is unsupported. Its role is clearer when treated as a power bank for the compatible phones and other USB devices described in the model documentation.

The loop releases a charging cable

The supplied Type-C to Type-C cable doubles as a hanging loop. The manual describes pressing the sturdy section at the loop's end to reveal the detachable cable, then connecting it between the power bank and a compatible device. This makes the loop a functional part of the charging kit rather than simply a carrying ornament.

For a bag shared between family members, the useful check is whether that cable matches the item needing power. The presence of an additional USB-A socket gives another connection option, but it does not mean every cable someone happens to carry has been tested with this model. Keep the supplied cable identifiable when packing other accessories.

The manual also distinguishes the battery-level lights from the fast-charge indication. It describes four white indicators for the charge level and a fifth green indicator for fast charging. Looking for that separate signal is more informative than seeing a light and assuming the highest charging mode is active.

Capacity and refill time need separate readings

The 20,000mAh label describes the advertised battery capacity. This report does not convert it into a guaranteed number of phone refills. Our Fast charging explained: USB PD, PPS, SUPERVOOC and which charger to buy in India covers why a capacity figure needs context. The Stellar product page and manual also give different refill estimates, so no definitive recharge time is asserted here.

Ambrane's page lists a six-month warranty. Its official policy adds a 30-day warranty extension for purchases from the company's own website and requests supporting handover and unboxing videos for warranty processing. Keep the order record and relevant documentation together if the device later requires support.

At the reporting check, the Stellar page displayed an availability-notification button. Rs 2,199 is therefore a verified listed price, rather than a promise of immediate ordering or dispatch.
