Varanasi: In a proud and inspiring moment for government school students from eastern Uttar Pradesh, 22 talented students from council schools in the Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Mirzapur divisions have been selected for a special educational exposure visit to Bengaluru.

For many of these students, the journey will be their first-ever experience of travelling by air, making the trip both exciting and memorable. The opportunity reflects how dedication and talent from even the most humble classrooms can open doors to remarkable experiences.

The students were selected based on their outstanding performance in the National Avishkar Abhiyan, where they secured first and second positions by demonstrating creativity, curiosity, and innovation in science-related activities.

During their visit to Bengaluru, the students will get a rare opportunity to explore the work carried out at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)—India’s premier space research institution responsible for several landmark achievements in space science and technology. The students will learn about satellites, rockets, and space missions, gaining firsthand exposure to the country’s scientific advancements.

According to Hemant Rao, the initiative aims to provide students with real-world exposure beyond textbooks. Such educational tours help ignite curiosity, strengthen interest in science, and motivate children to dream big about their future.

He added that visits to institutions of national importance encourage young minds to aspire to become scientists, engineers, and innovators who can contribute to the nation’s progress.

For these 22 students, the trip to Bengaluru is more than just a journey—it is a step toward a future filled with knowledge, inspiration, and limitless possibilities.
