Varanasi Police Seizes 88kg Deadly Chinese Manjha Under 'Operation Chakravyuh', One Arrested
VARANASI: In a major crackdown against the banned lethal kite string, the Varanasi Cantt Police has arrested one individual and seized a massive haul of 88 kilograms of Chinese Manjha.
The Raid: Acting under the special campaign "Operation Chakravyuh," the police team raided a kite shop near Sarasoli Bazar in the Cantt area. The accused was caught red-handed with the banned synthetic string and a winding machine.
Zero Tolerance: The use of Chinese Manjha has been causing severe injuries to humans and birds alike. This seizure serves as a strong warning to illegal sellers.
The Team: The successful operation was led by Cantt Station In-charge Shivakant Mishra, along with Ardali Bazar Outpost In-charge Umashankar, Sub-Inspector Balwant Kumar, and Constables Ashish Mishra and Atul Kumar Pandey.
