Varanasi entrepreneur Dhawal Prakash Agrawal received the "Fashion Retailer Entrepreneur of the Year 2025-26" award at the Banaras Financial Inclusion & Digital Banking Summit & Awards 2026 in Varanasi on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, according to a press note issued on his behalf.
Hansraj Vishwakarma, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), presented the award to Agrawal at the event.
The award recognised Agrawal's contribution to fashion retail, along with his leadership and entrepreneurship, according to the press note. These were the grounds cited for the recognition by the organisers.
The note said Agrawal had built a name in fashion retail through his experience, vision and customer-focused approach. It also said the business had grown under his leadership.
