BENGALURU: The Ultraviolette X-47 Venom electric motorcycle starts at Rs 2.65 lakh for the base X-47 with a 7.5 kWh battery, and goes up to Rs 3.99 lakh for the X-47 Recon+ with an 11 kWh pack. Ultraviolette says these prices include its Carbon Farewell Fund offer of up to Rs 35,000 on the Bengaluru ex-showroom price. Price as of 23 October 2026, 12:35 AM IST, on Ultraviolette's X-47 Venom page.

The X-47 Venom is the newest version of Ultraviolette's crossover motorcycle, marked as a new launch on the company's site this week. The company's model page lists four variants, two battery sizes and a claimed range of up to 343 km on the bigger pack.

Ultraviolette X-47 Venom price by variant

X-47: from Rs 2.65 lakh. 7.5 kWh battery, 227 km claimed range (IDC), standard charger.

X-47+: from Rs 3.15 lakh. Same 7.5 kWh battery and 227 km range, with an on-board charger in place of the standard charger.

X-47 Recon: from Rs 3.75 lakh. 11 kWh battery, 343 km claimed range, standard charger.

X-47 Recon+: from Rs 3.99 lakh. 11 kWh battery and 343 km range, with the on-board charger.

The step from the X-47 to the X-47+ is Rs 50,000, and it buys features, including the on-board charger, rather than more range. Moving from the X-47 to the Recon costs Rs 1.10 lakh and adds 3.5 kWh of battery and 116 km of claimed range. The Recon+ sits Rs 24,000 above the Recon.

Performance is the same on every variant

Ultraviolette lists identical performance figures across the range: 30 kW (40 hp) peak power, 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, a 155 km/h top speed and 550 Nm of wheel torque. The battery choice changes range, not speed, which makes the Rs 2.65 lakh X-47 the cheapest way to get the full performance.

Ultraviolette's UV Hypersense radar package covers rear collision warning, lane change assist, overtake alert and blind spot detection, according to the company's spec table, which marks it as missing on two of the four variants. Cruise control is listed as upgradable.

The model page also shows a rear camera, a dashcam and parking features in its feature sections. Buyers should confirm on the full spec sheet which of these come on which variant before booking, since the page's comparison table does not list every one by variant.

What the offer price means

The prices on the page are not plain ex-showroom figures. Ultraviolette says they already include the Carbon Farewell Fund offer of up to Rs 35,000 on the Bengaluru ex-showroom price, so the ex-showroom price before the offer can be up to Rs 35,000 higher. The offer is described as "up to", which means the amount may vary by variant or buyer.

On-road prices will add registration and insurance, and these differ by state, so ask the dealer for an itemised quote that shows the offer as a separate line. The page also lists Battery Flex EMI and a potential fuel savings calculator for buyers comparing running costs with a petrol bike.

How the X-47 Venom fits the EV market

At Rs 2.65 lakh, the X-47 Venom costs more than twice as much as a mainstream electric scooter such as the Ather 450S, which starts at Rs 98,888 in Delhi. With 155 km/h and 40 hp, it is pitched against petrol motorcycles of similar performance rather than commuter EVs. The 116 km gap in claimed range between the 7.5 kWh and 11 kWh packs is the single biggest decision for a buyer, and it costs Rs 1.10 lakh at the base level or Rs 84,000 between the two plus variants.

Bookings are open on Ultraviolette's website and at its Spacestation outlets.
