BENGALURU: The Ather Konarc starts at an effective ex-showroom price of Rs 99,999, according to Ather Energy's official Konarc page. Price as of 19 October 2026, 12:35 AM IST. Only two versions can be bought right now, the Konarc S with the 125 km and 161 km battery options, and only in select cities. Bookings cost a fully refundable Rs 2,499, and deliveries have started in some markets.
That matters because Ather has announced more Konarc versions than it is currently selling. Several are months or more than a year away, so it is worth knowing which one you are actually booking.
Which Konarc versions are on sale
Ather's FAQ lists four battery options for the Konarc S, named by their IDC range: 100 km, 125 km, 161 km and 200 km. The 125 km and 161 km versions are the ones on sale now. Ather quotes a TrueRange, its estimate for everyday riding, of 100 km for the 125 km version and 130 km for the 161 km version.
The rest are on a timeline. Ather says the Konarc S 100 km version will arrive in the fourth quarter of FY27, which is January to March 2027. The Konarc S 200 km is expected around the third quarter of FY28. A second model, the Konarc Z, is planned in 125 km and 161 km versions around the first quarter of FY28.
The exact price for your city and battery option is shown on Ather's Konarc configurator, and the Rs 99,999 figure is the starting point, not the price of every version.
Battery warranty and what it costs to extend
The standard battery warranty is three years or 30,000 km. Buyers who take the AtherStack Pro pack get five years or 60,000 km instead, and Ather says AtherStack Pro can be bought within 60 days of purchase.
For longer cover, Ather sells two Extended Battery Warranty plans: eight years or 80,000 km for Rs 4,999, and ten years or 1,00,000 km for Rs 8,999. Both are one-time charges listed on the Konarc page, and the longer plan costs Rs 4,000 more for two extra years and 20,000 extra kilometres of cover.
Service is due once a year or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first, according to the FAQ. We compared Ather's service and warranty terms with rivals in our Konarc, Rizta, Chetak and iQube comparison.
Charging
On an Ather Grid fast charger, the Konarc adds 15 km of range in 10 minutes, and 30 km in 10 minutes on select variants. Ather also offers what it calls Combined Charging, which needs an additional 450 W offboard charger. Ather says the onboard charger itself cannot be upgraded.
Build, storage and features
The Konarc has a metal body built on a steel unibody chassis. It rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with long-travel suspension and uses a silent gear drive. The dashboard is a 7-inch screen.
Storage is 31 litres under the seat, plus 2 litres in the front with a USB charger. On S variants, Ather says the USB charger is an accessory, so it may cost extra. There is also AirWalk, a walk-assist feature that helps when moving the scooter at walking speed.
Konarc against Ather's other scooters
The Konarc's Rs 99,999 starting price puts it below Ather's family scooter. The Rizta S is Rs 1,21,999 and the Rizta Z is Rs 1,36,999, as we reported in our Rizta price report. Ather's sportier 450 range costs more, with the 450S at Rs 1,35,999 and the 450X at Rs 1,48,998, according to our Ather 450 price report. Those prices were checked earlier this month and may have changed.
Before you book, check three things on Ather's site: whether the Konarc is on sale in your city, the price of the exact battery version you want, and whether you want AtherStack Pro for the longer standard battery warranty. The Rs 2,499 booking amount is refundable if you change your mind.
