Ather 450 price in your city: 450S from Rs 98,888 in Delhi, Rs 1,35,999 in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: The Ather 450S with the 2.9 kWh battery has an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,888 in Delhi after subsidies and Ather's introductory discount, and an on-road price of Rs 1,06,646, according to the city-wise price data on Ather Energy's 450 page. In Bengaluru, Ather's home city, the same scooter is Rs 1,35,999 ex-showroom and Rs 1,44,257 on-road. Price as of 22 October 2026, 12:30 AM IST.

The 450 family has five versions in Ather's data: the 450S and 450X, each with a 2.9 kWh or 3.5 kWh battery, and the 450 Apex. Ather quotes an IDC range of 122 km for the 450S 2.9 kWh, 126 km for the 450X 2.9 kWh and 161 km for both 3.5 kWh versions. The 450S and 450X top out at 90 km/h, while Ather says the Apex can reach 100 km/h.

These are Ather's on-road figures before the optional AtherStack Pro pack. Ex-showroom prices after deductions are in brackets where useful.

The 450S 2.9 kWh carries the biggest discount

Ather's breakdown shows a much larger introductory discount on the smaller 450S than on any other version. It is Rs 13,237 in Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata and Rs 12,239 in Mumbai and Pune, against about Rs 3,500 on the 450S 3.5 kWh. In Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad the 450S 2.9 kWh discount is Rs 3,499, which is why the entry 450 costs more there than in Mumbai.

Delhi again benefits from its state subsidy. Ather deducts Rs 29,000 on the 2.9 kWh versions and Rs 30,000 on the 3.5 kWh versions and the Apex, on top of a Rs 5,000 government incentive on the 450S and 450X. Lucknow shows a Rs 5,000 state deduction. The other six cities show none.

The result is a narrow gap inside the range in Delhi. The 450S 3.5 kWh and the 450X 2.9 kWh are within Rs 67 of each other on-road, at Rs 1,30,073 and Rs 1,30,140. That forces a straight choice between the bigger battery on the 450S and the 450X's extra features with the smaller battery.

The Apex does not get the Rs 5,000 incentive or an introductory discount in Ather's data, so its price moves only with state subsidy, insurance and registration. Kolkata adds a Rs 6,250 road tax line to every version, which makes it the costliest of these cities.

Ather notes that effective ex-showroom prices apply in select cities and are valid for limited stocks only, so ask for a written on-road quote before booking.

AtherStack Pro and battery warranty

AtherStack Pro costs Rs 16,000 on the 450S 2.9 kWh, Rs 17,000 on the 450S 3.5 kWh, Rs 23,500 on the 450X 2.9 kWh and Rs 24,500 on the 450X 3.5 kWh. Ather's data shows no separate Pro charge for the Apex. With the pack, the Delhi 450S 2.9 kWh comes to Rs 1,22,645 and the Bengaluru 450X 3.5 kWh to Rs 1,96,265.

Ather's FAQ says the Pro pack brings a 5 year battery warranty, Ather Connect and RideAssist features. It also unlocks paid extensions: 8 years or 80,000 km for Rs 4,999, and 10 years or 1,00,000 km for Rs 8,999, which Ather says will go on sale soon.
