NEW DELHI: Sony's new Alpha 7 V costs Rs 2,40,990 body only on Sony's official India store ShopAtSC, and the 66.8 MP Alpha 7R VI costs Rs 4,19,990. The store lists 30 Sony cameras in all, from Rs 43,990 for the ZV-1F vlog camera to Rs 4,72,990 for the Alpha 9 III. Price as of 25 October 2026, 12:30 AM IST.
All 30 sell below their MRP on the store, and the cheapest interchangeable-lens body is the APS-C Alpha 6100 at Rs 53,990. The cheapest full-frame body is the Alpha 7 III at Rs 1,17,490. Prices are the store's own and exclude bank offers.

The two new full-frame bodies
The Alpha 7 V (ILCE-7M5) listing names a 33 MP partially stacked sensor, 4K recording at 120p and 30 frames a second. At Rs 2,40,990 it costs Rs 70,000 more than the Alpha 7 IV body, which stays on sale at Rs 1,70,990. The Alpha 7 IV is also sold with the new FE 28-70 mm II kit lens for Rs 1,83,990.
The Alpha 7R VI (ILCE-7RM6) is the high-resolution model, listed at 66.8 MP and 30 frames a second. Its Rs 4,19,990 price is Rs 1,05,000 above the 61 MP Alpha 7R V, which is still on the store at Rs 3,14,990.
Vlog and APS-C cameras
Sony sells three compacts with fixed lenses. The ZV-1F with a 20 mm lens costs Rs 43,990, the ZV-1 II with an 18-50 mm zoom costs Rs 77,990 and the RX100 VII costs Rs 1,16,990. For creators who want interchangeable lenses, the ZV-E10 II costs Rs 87,990 body only and Rs 96,990 with a 16-50 mm power zoom.
The Alpha 6400 body costs Rs 67,990, or Rs 76,990 with the 16-50 mm lens. The Alpha 6700 is sold as a kit with the 18-135 mm power zoom at Rs 1,58,990.
Compact full-frame and video bodies
The small-bodied Alpha 7C costs Rs 1,30,990, the Alpha 7C II costs Rs 1,79,990 and the 61 MP Alpha 7CR costs Rs 2,68,990. For video, the 12.1 MP ZV-E1 costs Rs 1,79,990 body only, the same as the Alpha 7C II, and the Alpha 7S III costs Rs 2,98,990.
At the top, the Alpha 1 costs Rs 4,70,990 and the Alpha 9 III, whose listing names a global shutter and 120 frames a second, costs Rs 4,72,990.
What to check before buying
Work out what the kit lens is costing you. The Alpha 7 III kit with the 28-70 mm II lens costs Rs 14,000 more than the body alone, and the Alpha 7 IV kit costs Rs 13,000 more than its body.
