A colour shown in a photograph should not be treated as evidence that it is available at a particular dealership.

Read the colour cards before the headline figure

The official FAQ groups the motorcycle into Astral, Interstellar and Celestial versions. Its colour-count sentence is inconsistent with the named options, so the useful reference is the actual list of colour cards above. There is no basis here for adding another colour or assigning an unlisted price to it.

Astral is the entry point for someone who wants the cruiser in black. Interstellar provides a different paint choice within the same model family. Celestial is described on the page as the Tourer. Anyone comparing that version should have the quotation identify the supplied touring equipment and distinguish it from accessories appearing in publicity photographs.

The mechanical brief is clearly about cruising

The official technical document specifies a 648 cc air-oil-cooled parallel twin, a six-speed gearbox, 47 PS at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. Those figures describe the engine's output, rather than promising an overtaking time or a fuel economy result on an Indian highway.

More revealing for everyday use are the 740 mm seat height, 135 mm ground clearance and 1,500 mm wheelbase. Read together, they describe a low, long motorcycle. The low seat can help with reaching the ground, while the clearance makes the approach to a steep ramp or a tall speed breaker something to assess carefully.

This is a particularly relevant distinction for an apartment resident. Reaching the road can involve a basement incline, a tight turn and a parking slot before the relaxed highway portion of the journey begins. A comfortable seated posture does not answer whether that route suits the motorcycle. Checking the actual parking approach is more useful than deciding from the seat-height figure alone.

Who it is for

The Super Meteor suits a rider seeking a low seating position and a deliberate cruiser stance for road travel. The Astral version fits someone content with the entry colour; Interstellar is for someone whose preference is the listed green or grey finish. Celestial deserves attention from riders interested in the Tourer presentation, subject to confirming its included equipment.

The brochure also lists a 15.7-litre tank, upside-down front forks, twin rear shocks, tubeless tyres and dual-channel ABS. These are useful ownership details, but none establishes comfort on a broken road. A test ride should include the kind of surface and slow manoeuvres the rider expects to encounter, with attention to steering space and the effort needed to move the bike.

Compare the riding position, then the invoice

Within the same brand, our Interceptor 650 price guide offers another reference for a twin-cylinder road motorcycle. The Shotgun 650 variant guide is useful for readers considering a different interpretation of that broad category.

Readers attracted primarily to the cruiser silhouette can also consult the Meteor 350 price guide. Treat these as separate model choices. An engine-capacity badge or a paint premium cannot tell you which handlebar, footrest and seat relationship will suit your body.

For the Super Meteor itself, keep the chosen colour, the standard equipment and the final invoice on the same page. This price list establishes the manufacturer's published starting point for each named option. It does not settle local charges, accessory selection or delivery timing.
