Revolt Motors is offering free insurance on five electric-motorcycle models during an 11 to 20 October 2026 campaign. Its official 12 October offer announcement lists the highest benefit for the RVX at up to Rs 9,350 in Kerala and Rs 8,037 in the rest of India.

The offer covers the RVX, RV400, RV400 BRZ, RV BlazeX and RV1+. The rupee amounts describe the company's stated insurance benefit, rather than a cash payment to every customer or a reduction in the motorcycle's listed ex-showroom price. The model and purchase location determine the applicable amount.

The model-wise benefit is the number to check

For the RV400, Revolt lists insurance worth up to Rs 7,150 outside Kerala and Rs 8,631 in Kerala. The RV400 BRZ amounts are Rs 6,984 and Rs 8,394 respectively. These figures come from the model table in the official campaign announcement, checked on 13 October 2026 at 05:44 IST.

The RV BlazeX has a stated benefit of up to Rs 6,964 outside Kerala or Rs 8,232 in the state. For the RV1+, the corresponding amounts are Rs 6,504 and Rs 7,713. A buyer choosing one of these models should use its own row, rather than the larger RVX amount in the headline.

The offer does not identify the insurance company, the precise cover type, its duration, the excess or included add-ons. A rupee value by itself cannot answer those questions. Ask for the policy schedule and an invoice showing exactly which insurance charge the offer removes and whether any additional cover is separately payable.

There is also a pricing inconsistency across Revolt's own pages. The campaign blog quotes the RVX at Rs 1,44,990, while its current product page displays Rs 1,39,990. Similar disagreement appears for the BlazeX. These are displayed vehicle prices as of the same check, not a verified change announcement, and they do not support a reliable discounted on-road calculation.

The practical response is to obtain one written, itemised quotation for the chosen model and city. It should distinguish the vehicle price, applicable registration charges and insurance benefit. The campaign's terms permit benefits to change or be withdrawn, so confirmation of eligibility matters before paying against the offer.

RVX battery, charging and warranty context

Revolt's official campaign announcement lists a removable 3.24 kWh NMC battery and a motor rated at 5.3 kW peak output for the RVX. It claims 160 km of IDC range, a 90 km/h top speed and acceleration from rest to 40 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The range figure is a test-cycle claim, not a guaranteed daily distance.

Normal charging from zero to 80 per cent is stated to take three hours and 30 minutes. The removable battery offers an alternative to charging only where the motorcycle is parked, but a buyer still needs a suitable charging location and to follow the supplied charging instructions. No universal household-wiring suitability should be assumed.

The RVX product page lists an eight-year or 80,000 km battery warranty and a five-year or 60,000 km vehicle warranty, whichever limit is reached first. It says the battery will be replaced if its health falls below 70 per cent within the warranty period. The warranty conditions remain relevant; the eight-year term is not unrestricted cover for every motorcycle component.

Riding equipment includes three modes, a boost function, hill hold and walk and reverse assistance. The RVX has an 815 mm seat, 17-inch wheels, an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock, with disc brakes at both ends. These details provide test-ride context but do not change the insurance eligibility of the other models.

Keep separate EV offers separate

The current insurance campaign should not be combined automatically with an older subsidy panel whose registration deadline was 31 July 2026. Nor does the new offer establish lower running costs for a particular household without knowing its charging tariff, travel and ownership conditions.

For comparison, Dalimss News has detailed Ola Roadster X and X+ prices and VLF Strada booking terms. For a Revolt purchase under this campaign, the immediate checks are the correct model benefit, the actual insurance policy and the dealer's written confirmation of the 20 October eligibility deadline.
