BENGALURU: Ola Electric lists the Roadster X electric motorcycle from Rs 1,04,999 and the Roadster X+ from Rs 1,08,560 on its official Roadster X page. Both figures are ex-showroom starting prices, price as of 9 October 2026, 7:05 AM IST. The Roadster X is Ola's entry-level electric motorcycle, aimed at daily commuters.
The same page, however, carries more than one set of numbers, depending on the battery size selected. With the Diwali buying season under way, here is what Ola lists for each version, the range and charging claims, and what buyers should confirm before paying.
Ola Roadster X and X+ prices
The model cards at the top of the page show the Roadster X from Rs 1,04,999 and the Roadster X+ from Rs 1,08,560. The Roadster X is offered with 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh battery options, and the Roadster X+ with 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh packs.
Further down, the page's comparison table, which Ola says shows ex-showroom prices, lists the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh from Rs 1,54,999, the Roadster X+ 4.5 kWh from Rs 1,04,999 and the Roadster X 4.5 kWh from Rs 94,999. A banner at the top of the page also describes the longest-range Roadster as available at Rs 1,89,999, subject to terms and conditions.
These figures do not line up neatly, and the page does not explain the difference between them. Buyers should ask the Ola store for a written quote naming the exact model and battery size, and check whether a lower figure is a limited-period price or tied to a specific payment option. It also helps to confirm the colour and any accessories included, since these can change the final bill.
Range, speed and performance
For the Roadster X, Ola lists a certified IDC range of up to 252 km, a top speed of 118 km/h, 0 to 40 km/h in 3.1 seconds and peak power of 7 kW. Brake-by-wire is listed as standard.
The Roadster X+ is listed with an IDC range of up to 500 km with the 9.1 kWh battery, a top speed of 125 km/h, 0 to 40 km/h in 2.7 seconds and peak power of 11 kW. It also gets a front disc brake along with brake-by-wire. IDC figures come from a standard test cycle, and real-world range will be lower.
The comparison table gives a charging time of 8 hours from 0 to 80 percent for the 9.1 kWh Roadster X+, and 5.9 hours for the 4.5 kWh versions. All three versions in the table offer Sport, Normal and Eco riding modes, and each carries a battery warranty of 3 years or 50,000 km.
Design and practical features
Ola says the Roadster X uses a mid-drive motor and ram-air cooling in place of fans. The charger is built into the bike and plugs into a regular 5A household socket, according to the page. When the charger is removed, Ola says the space becomes a 3.27-litre storage compartment.
Ola also offers payment options on the page, including an all-cash purchase and a split payment option. Buyers should make sure any EMI or financing figure shown is based on the same version and price that appears on their quote.
Where the Roadster sits in Ola's range
Ola's electric scooter range has its own festive pricing, as our report on the Ola S1 third generation and the S1 Z at Rs 79,999 shows. The Roadster X brings Ola's electric drivetrain to a motorcycle body, for buyers who prefer a bike's riding position and larger wheels.
Electric two-wheelers took a growing share of retail sales in September, according to the dealers' body data in our FADA September 2026 two-wheeler retail report. Electric motorcycles remain a small part of that, so buyers should check service network coverage in their city along with the price.
Prices on Ola's website can change without notice. The figures in this report are from the official Roadster X page as seen on 9 October 2026, and we will update it if Ola clarifies the pricing.
