The National Testing Agency has displayed the final answer keys for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination papers in English, Commerce and Sociology that were conducted on 9 and 10 September 2026. The Public Notice is dated 17 September 2026 and points candidates to the official UGC-NET website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ for viewing the keys. An Annexure-I in the notice explains the viewing process.

NTA recalls that the three papers were re-conducted under the Public Notice dated 16 August 2026 after the June cycle. The re-examination took place at 454 centres in 272 cities. Provisional keys and recorded responses had been hosted earlier from 10 to 13 September for challenges. The 17 September notice states that final keys are now available after that process.

How candidates can view the final keys

Candidates who appeared in English, Commerce or Sociology may log in with their credentials on ugcnet.nta.nic.in and open the final answer keys for their subject. The notice asks candidates to follow Annexure-I for the step-by-step viewing path. NTA also advises regular visits to the UGC-NET site for further updates.

The final-key notice is separate from the result press release issued the same day for the three subjects. Scorecards and qualification counts are handled through the result communication. The keys notice is limited to displaying the finalised answers used after expert review of challenges.

What the keys mean for the three-subject retest

For candidates who challenged provisional keys between 10 and 13 September, the final keys show the decisions applied before result processing. For candidates who did not challenge, the final keys still provide the official answer reference for the paper they sat on 9 or 10 September.

Help-desk contacts remain those printed on the NTA UGC-NET site and in the notice footer, including the Minto Road, New Delhi address block and ugcnet@nta.ac.in. The notice is signed for the Director (Exams), NTA.

English was held in Shift 1 on 9 September, Commerce in Shift 2 on 9 September, and Sociology in Shift 1 on 10 September, as set out in the August re-conduct notice that NTA cites again here. Candidates must open the key set that matches the subject they sat, not a neighbouring paper.

The final keys close the challenge chapter for these three subjects. NTA does not, in this notice, invite a fresh challenge cycle. Disputes about marking after results are governed by the information bulletin and result notice, not by a second key objection window in the 17 September keys PDF.

Candidates who still need category-wise cut-off marks should look for the separate cut-off PDF NTA issued for the same three subjects, while scorecards remain on the UGC-NET login. Keep the final-key notice, the result press release and the cut-off tables as three distinct official files when preparing for JRF or Assistant Professor eligibility checks by universities.

Candidates should treat ugcnet.nta.nic.in as the only login path named in the notice for final keys. Third-party key compilations are outside the Public Notice. After viewing the keys, candidates who need scorecard downloads should use the result facility already announced for English, Commerce and Sociology rather than expecting a second key challenge window in this notice.
