Three Kashi Institute Students Hurt After Bullet Hits School Signboard in Gaur

Three students of Kashi Institute of Technology were injured on Monday evening when the Bullet motorcycle they were riding hit a private school signboard in Gaur village under Mirzamurad police station and threw them into a roadside field.

Police and local accounts name the riders as Ratan Kumar, Prateek Kumar and Shrestha. They were returning from the Nigtapur side toward Mirzamurad on a single Bullet when the bike went out of control near Gaur and struck the school board at the edge of the road. The impact was strong enough to fling all three about 30 metres into a field, witnesses told officers who reached the spot.

Mirzamurad police arranged first aid at a private hospital in Khajuri. Doctors there marked Shrestha’s condition as serious and referred him to the trauma centre at Banaras Hindu University for higher care. The other two students remained under treatment at the private facility. The damaged motorcycle was taken into police custody.

Some witnesses put the bike’s speed above 80–90 km/h and spoke of a hands-free stunt just before the crash. Those details remain witness claims at this stage, not a completed forensic finding. Police said legal process in the accident case was under way and that families had been informed.
