Maruti e Vitara price list, October 2026

Delta, 49 kWh: Rs 16,19,000. Maruti's data lists a single-speed electric drive, two-wheel drive and a claimed range of 440 km.

Zeta, 61 kWh: Rs 17,94,000, with a claimed range of 543 km.

Alpha, 61 kWh: Rs 19,99,000, or Rs 20,21,000 with the dual-tone roof. The claimed range is 543 km.

What the price steps buy

The step from Delta to Zeta costs Rs 1,75,000. For that money the buyer gets the larger 61 kWh battery, which Maruti lists as 12 kWh bigger, and an extra 103 km of claimed range. That works out to about Rs 1,699 for each extra claimed kilometre.

The Zeta to Alpha step costs Rs 2,05,000 and adds no range, since both carry the same battery. The dual-tone roof is a further Rs 22,000. Buyers who care mainly about range per rupee will find the Zeta the better fit among the three versions.

Safety and everyday use

Maruti's variant data lists seven airbags and five seats on all three versions. The e Vitara is sold only as a two-wheel-drive single-speed electric car in this price list, so there is no all-wheel-drive option to choose between.

Claimed range is a laboratory figure. Real-world range falls with highway speed, air conditioning and load, so buyers who drive long distances should plan charging stops and check the charging network near their routes.

How it compares with other electric cars

The e Vitara is priced above most mass-market electric SUVs in our coverage. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV costs Rs 13,88,999 to Rs 14,95,999 and the MG Windsor EV starts at Rs 14,84,800. The MG ZS EV runs from Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 20.75 lakh, which puts it in the same band as the e Vitara Zeta and Alpha.

Quick answers for buyers

What is the cheapest e Vitara? The Delta at Rs 16,19,000 ex-showroom Delhi, with the 49 kWh battery.

Which version has the longest range? The Zeta and the Alpha, both with the 61 kWh battery and a claimed 543 km.

How much does the Alpha cost with dual-tone paint? Rs 20,21,000, which is Rs 22,000 above the standard Alpha.

How much energy is that per kilometre? Dividing the listed battery size by the claimed range gives about 0.11 kWh a km for the Delta and 0.11 kWh a km for the Zeta and Alpha. Real use will vary with speed and load.

Where is the e Vitara sold? The price list sits on Maruti's Nexa site, so bookings and test drives go through Nexa showrooms.

The price spread at a glance

The dearest e Vitara costs Rs 4,02,000 more than the cheapest, a spread of about 25 per cent. Only three versions are on offer, and two of them share the same battery and range.

Because the Zeta and Alpha carry the same 61 kWh pack, the extra Rs 2,05,000 for the Alpha pays for trim and features, not distance. Buyers should ask the dealer for the exact feature differences between the two before choosing, since Maruti's public price page does not list them.

Ask the Nexa dealer for an itemised on-road quote, the state incentive that applies and a written delivery date before paying a booking amount. The full table is on Maruti's official e Vitara price page.
