MAH AAC CET Mop-Up Provisional Merit Lists Released

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the provisional merit lists for the mop-up round of MAH AAC CET 2026 admissions. Separate lists are available for Maharashtra-state and All India candidates on the Fine Art admission portal, opening the final stretch of counselling for applied art, fine art and craft programmes.
The list is provisional, which means candidates should use it first as a data-checking document. It is not the same as a final college allotment. Applicants need to verify the personal, academic and category information recorded against their application before the process moves to reporting and seat confirmation.
Details that need a close look
The state-candidature list includes the application and roll numbers, candidate name, gender, CET score out of 190, intermediate drawing grade marks out of 10 and the combined total out of 200. It also records Class 12 and Class 10 percentages, date of birth and fields connected to candidature, orphan, disability and defence categories.
A spelling error in the name may look minor on a merit PDF but can create problems when the admission record is matched with certificates. The same is true of an incorrectly entered drawing grade, board percentage or reservation field. Candidates should compare the list with the application form and uploaded documents, then use only the official grievance or correction process if something is wrong.
The mop-up round follows the first allotment issued on 29 July and the second issued on 10 August. At this stage, the seat pool generally consists of vacancies left after earlier admissions, cancellations or non-reporting. Availability can therefore be narrower and more changeable than it was in Round 1. Candidates should check the programme, institution, fees and seat type rather than assuming that every college will participate with the same capacity.
Reporting window
According to the published schedule, allotted candidates can report to colleges on 24, 25 and 27 August, between 11 am and 5 pm. The missing date in that sequence is important: applicants should not assume that an admission desk will operate on 26 August unless the CET Cell or the college issues a separate instruction.
Reporting ordinarily requires originals and a set of copies, the allotment or admission letter, CET documents, school and higher-secondary records and category certificates where applicable. Art and design institutions may also have programme-specific requirements. Candidates should read the college notice before travelling and ask the official admission office, not an unofficial agent, about payment modes and document sets.
The selection method combines the candidate's performance and recorded eligibility with the options and vacancies available in the counselling round. A high score alone does not guarantee a particular institution if it was not placed correctly in the preference form or no seat remains in that category.
For applicants, the next few days are less about predicting a closing rank and more about administrative accuracy. Download the correct state or All India list, search by application number rather than name alone, verify every column, save the page and monitor fineart2026.mahacet.org for the final admission instructions. If a seat is allotted, report only on the notified dates and obtain a proper receipt for every original document and payment handed to the college.
