CBSE Declares Selected KVS, NVS and EMRS Tier 2 Recruitment Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared Tier 2 recruitment results for selected teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Eklavya Model Residential Schools. The results currently cover PGT Economics, PGT History and TGT Work Experience posts, and candidates can access their status through the official examination-services portal or the CBSE recruitment page.

The announcement is post-specific. Candidates who sat another KVS, NVS or EMRS paper should not assume that every Tier 2 result has been issued in the same batch. The safest check is the result link or notice displayed against the exact post in the candidate login.

Marks and the next selection stage

CBSE has distinguished between posts that include an interview and those that do not. Where an interview forms part of the selection process, the board says marksheets will be made available within 15 days of publication of the final result after interviews are completed. For posts without an interview, Tier 2 marks are being displayed in the candidate login with the result.

That distinction explains why two candidates may see different information even when both appeared in Tier 2. A shortlist for interview is not a final appointment, while a score for a non-interview post still has to be read with the recruitment rules, category cut-off and document verification requirements.

Some shortlisted candidates must also submit institutional or regional preferences. The board has asked them to exercise those choices through the application portal according to the instructions in their login. Preference filling should be treated as a consequential part of selection, not a survey. Candidates should research locations and service conditions before placing an option, and save a copy of the final order they submit.

Use only the official login

Recruitment results attract copied PDFs and unofficial “selected candidate” lists. Candidates should avoid entering credentials on links shared through messaging groups. The official routes are cbse.gov.in and examinationservices.nic.in; the domain should be checked before a password or application number is entered.

After downloading the result, candidates should verify the name, roll number, post, category and status. They should also prepare originals for the next stage: educational and professional qualifications, proof of age, category or disability certificates where claimed, experience records if required and identity documents. The employing organisation's notice will determine the final list, so applicants should not upload additional material to an unverified address.

KVS, NVS and EMRS serve different school systems. Kendriya Vidyalayas operate largely for transferable central-government families and other eligible groups; Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are residential schools with a rural talent mandate; EMRS institutions focus on educational access for Scheduled Tribe students. Posting preferences can therefore involve very different locations and school environments.

Candidates also need to separate examination administration from appointment. CBSE conducts the recruitment examination, but the relevant school organisation handles later verification, allocation and joining in accordance with the recruitment notice. A result page is not a joining order.

For the three declared post groups, the practical next step is to download the official result, read whether an interview or preference exercise applies and monitor the employing body's website. For every other post, candidates should wait for a dated notice rather than infer a result from the present release. That restraint is particularly important when several organisations and dozens of post codes share one recruitment cycle.
