GURUGRAM: A Korean meal can be a bowl of rice and stew, a table of grilled pork belly or a packet of noodles to cook at home. Three places in Gurugram publish enough on their own websites to build a short guide around: Kofuku in Sector 66, Kori's in Sector 65 and the Seela Mart store on Golf Course Road. This feature sets out their addresses, hours and the menu items they list, as read on 9 October 2026, and flags where the pages leave questions open.

Kofuku's address is R1104, M3M International Financial Centre, Sector 66. Its location page lists hours of 12 noon to 11 pm, Monday to Sunday. Most of the menu is Japanese, but it has a separate Korean section covering stews, barbecue, rice rolls, dumplings and noodles, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions listed side by side.

For a rice-and-stew meal, the menu lists a vegetarian kimchi jjigae, which it describes as kimchi soup served with rice, at Rs 540, and a vegetarian sundubu jjigae, a soft tofu stew served with rice, also at Rs 540 (prices as of 9 October 2026, 12:25 pm IST). The non-vegetarian kimchi jjigae, made with chicken, pork or prawn, is Rs 620. Dishes like these are the easiest place to begin if you have not eaten Korean food before.

The menu also lists gimbap, the seaweed rice rolls, in ten-piece servings. Vegetable gimbap is Rs 585, and versions with cheese, bulgogi, sausage, spicy tuna or prawn tempura are Rs 675 (as of 9 October 2026, 12:25 pm IST). Among the noodles, the vegetarian japchae, stir fried sweet potato noodles with vegetables, is Rs 625, and the version with chicken, pork or prawn is Rs 695.

For barbecue, the menu lists a samgyeopsal, thickly sliced pork belly grilled and served with sauce, sesame oil and fresh lettuce, at Rs 1,095, with a spicy version at the same price (as of 9 October 2026, 12:25 pm IST). The menu does not say whether the meat is cooked at your table or served already grilled, nor how many people a portion feeds, so ask before you order for a group.

Kori's is at AIPL Joy Central, Sector 65, according to the website of its operator, Kaiel Hotel & Restaurant Private Limited. The company says it was established in 2012 by Sang Hoon Lee and runs Korean dining and bakery outlets across India. The Gurugram entry lists dining hours of 11 am to 11 pm, and delivery hours from 11 am to 11:45 pm.

Kori's menu and the Seela Mart shelf

The brand's menu page names kimbap, mandu, katsu, tteokbokki, noodles, a Korean burger, deopbap, japchae rice, dosirak, Korean fried chicken, egg roll, corn dog, pajeon, kimchi jeon, ojingeo bokkeum and kimchi tofu. Drinks include matcha latte, iced Americano, cold coffee, a kiwi mojito, blueberry iced tea and shakes. The page is a brand menu, not a branch menu, so it does not tell you which items are served in Sector 65, and it lists no prices.

That is the main gap to keep in mind: the website does not publish prices or vegetarian markings for Kori's. If you eat vegetarian food, ask staff for the Gurugram menu and check the broth, the filling and the side dishes. The name of a dish, or the word tofu in it, does not tell you what is in the stock or sauce.

The third address is a shop, not a restaurant. Seela Mart's store directory places its Gurugram outlet at shop 14, lower ground floor, South Point Mall, Golf Course Road, Phase V, with hours of 9 am to 9 pm. The company's websites list Korean groceries such as instant noodles, sauces and dumplings, but the prices and stock shown online belong to its main store sites, so check the shelf at the Gurugram store for your own pack sizes and ingredients.

A few terms help when reading any Korean menu. Jjigae is a stew, usually served bubbling with rice on the side. Gimbap, also spelled kimbap, is rice and fillings rolled in seaweed. Tteokbokki is chewy rice cakes in a red chilli sauce, japchae is glass noodles with vegetables, and mandu is the dumpling. Samgyeopsal is pork belly. Banchan are the small side dishes that come with a meal, usually to be eaten with rice.

Vegetarian diners should look past the main ingredient. Kimchi is often made with fish sauce or dried shrimp, and stews can be cooked in meat or seafood stock. Kimbap rolls may contain egg or fish cake. Ask the restaurant what is in the dish you want, and mention any allergy before the food is cooked, since a shared grill or pan can affect a dish even if the menu marks it as vegetarian.

For a first visit, one stew and one roll for two people is an easy order, with a noodle dish added if the group is bigger. Barbecue works better for four or more. At Kofuku, check whether rice is included before you compare a stew with a roll by price, and confirm taxes and service charges when you pay, since the menu figures may not include them.

All three places are in malls or office towers, which makes parking and metro travel part of the plan. Our guides to momos, thukpa and khow suey outlets in Gurugram and the DLF CyberHub dining directory can help you compare other Asian options nearby.
