GURUGRAM: The official website of DLF CyberHub lists 57 places to eat and drink in its dine directory, spread over the ground, first and second floors, along with a comedy venue and a family arcade in its entertainment section. This Dalimss News feature walks through what that directory shows, how the centre describes itself, and where the website is unclear, for readers planning an evening in Cyber City. It is a feature built on the centre's own pages and not a review, and Dalimss News has not tested any outlet.

The About Us page describes CyberHub as a first-of-its-kind concept in India: a socialising zone with food and entertainment at its core. It says the centre is located on NH-8, the main road between Delhi and Gurugram, and names its spaces as al fresco areas, an amphitheatre, exhibit areas, a rooftop terrace and media rooms. The management office is listed at Ground Floor, Building No-10C, DLF Cyber City, Phase 2, Gurugram 122002.

What the directory contains

Counting the entries on the dine page, 40 are placed on the ground floor, 10 on the first floor and 4 on the second floor, while three entries give no floor. Each is listed with a unit number. Dalimss News has grouped some of the names for ease of reading, and the website itself does not use these groups.

Among coffee and tea names, the directory lists Blue Tokai, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Pret A Manger, Chaayos, My Tea Chapel and United Coffee House. Bakery and dessert names include BreadTalk, Magnolia Bakery, The Big Chill Cakery, Frozen Fun Gelato and Kings Kulfi. Indian and regional names include Bikanervala, Haldiram's, Sagar Ratna, Copper Chimney, Punjab Grill, Mustard Madras, Kwality and Dhaba.

Asian restaurant names include Burma Burma, Viet:Nom, P.F. Chang's, Mamagoto, Yum Yum Cha and Soi 7. The list also carries international casual-dining names such as Chili's and Nando's, and quick-service names such as Domino's, KFC and McDonald's, along with several bars and pubs.

The entertainment page lists The Laugh Store and a Timezone arcade in its directory. It describes Timezone as a family entertainment destination with arcades across the country. Under a heading titled Fresh Finds, the site also shows Soi 7, P.F. Chang's, Timezone, Aku's, a reimagined Starbucks format that it says adds zero-proof cocktails, Mamagoto Nomikai and Kwality, each marked as now open. None of these entries carries a date, so Dalimss News cannot say when any of them opened.

The website is less clear in a few places. The footer gives operational hours of 8 am to 4 am, while the home page shows two other time ranges, 10 am to 11 pm and 11 am to 12.45 am, without saying what each refers to. The events page opens with entries from 2018, so it is not a guide to what is on now. The dine directory gives names and unit numbers but no menus, prices or individual opening hours.

The menu bar also points to a community programme page, a trend magazine and a store locator, which Dalimss News did not review for this feature. Readers who want to know whether a given outlet is open or whether it takes bookings would need to contact the outlet or the CyberHub management office, since the directory itself does not say.
