NEW DELHI: The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 with 256GB of storage costs Rs 1,74,999 at Reliance Digital, Rs 5,000 less than the Rs 1,79,999 Samsung asks on its own India store. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra with 256GB is Rs 1,94,999 at Reliance Digital against Rs 1,99,999 on Samsung.com. The same Rs 5,000 gap holds for the 512GB versions of both phones. Price as of 21 October 2026, 1:22 PM IST.
The lower shelf price is only part of the comparison. Samsung's own store bundles a set of offers that Reliance Digital does not match line by line, so the cheaper sticker does not automatically mean the cheaper deal for every buyer.

What Samsung.com adds to the price
Samsung says its Fold8 offers carry benefits worth up to Rs 14,800, and up to Rs 15,200 on the Fold8 Ultra. The main choice is between three options: a 24-month low-cost EMI with eligible banks, an exchange bonus of Rs 8,000, or a bank discount of Rs 7,000. On top of that, Samsung lists an extra Rs 2,000 off through its First Purchase Benefit.
Samsung also runs a Galaxy Forever plan on the foldables. It offers 24 no-cost EMIs starting at Rs 8,583 a month for the Fold8 and Rs 9,416 a month for the Fold8 Ultra, with Samsung Care+ worth Rs 32,999 included, and an assured buyback value of up to 55%. Buyers who plan to upgrade within two years, or who want accidental damage cover, should weigh that package against the Rs 5,000 saving at Reliance Digital. Samsung's store also lists Samsung Rewards points worth up to Rs 4,800 on the purchase.
There is also a colour difference. On Samsung.com, the Fold8 comes in Lavender, Graphite and Cream, with Pistachio offered only on Samsung's store. The Fold8 Ultra comes in Violet Shadow, Graphite and Cream, with Green Shadow as the Samsung.com exclusive. Buyers who want either exclusive colour have to order from Samsung directly. Reliance Digital's listings we checked were for the Graphite finish, which both stores carry.
How the two foldables differ
According to Samsung, the Fold8 weighs 201 grams, carries a 4,800mAh battery and uses a 50MP main camera. The Fold8 Ultra weighs 215 grams, has a 5,000mAh battery and pairs a 200MP wide camera with a 50MP ultra-wide. The Ultra's screens measure 16.48 cm on the cover and 20.31 cm inside, and it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip.
At Reliance Digital the Fold8 with 512GB and the Fold8 Ultra with 256GB both cost Rs 1,94,999. That is the clearest trade-off in the range: double the storage on the standard model, or the bigger battery and higher-resolution camera on the Ultra, for the same money.
Before buying, compare the final cart value at both stores after the offers you actually qualify for. If you would use the Rs 7,000 bank discount on Samsung.com, the Rs 5,000 retail gap reverses in Samsung's favour. If you do not hold an eligible card or have no phone to exchange, the Reliance Digital price is lower.
