KOLKATA: ClinikPe, a health-tech startup, introduced its platform on 8 October as "lab growth infrastructure" for independent diagnostic labs, clinics and doctors. The idea is to give a single-room lab the kind of software a national chain uses, at a price a small operator can manage. For India's many small pathology labs, which often run on basic billing software or paper, that is a real gap.
Here is what the company says it offers, what it costs on its public price page and which numbers are its own.
The problem it targets
According to the company's launch statement, ClinikPe was built after its founder, who has more than 17 years of experience building electronic medical record systems and apps for doctors, saw the same pattern again and again. Small labs and clinics were either stuck with simple billing tools or priced out of the enterprise systems used by big hospitals and chains.
The company says it began onboarding labs about three months ago and now serves labs and clinics in West Bengal, Bihar, Varanasi and Hyderabad. It says more than 20,000 patients have been registered on the platform this year. Its website's headline banner says more than 100 diagnostic labs run on ClinikPe, while another section of the same site says 20 or more labs, so the lab count should be read as an approximate company claim.
What the platform includes
ClinikPe's site describes a cloud-based system for diagnostic centres, multi-doctor clinics and independent doctors. For labs, it lists a laboratory information system (LIS), online test booking, a sample collection app called ClinikPe Collect, reagent auto-consumption and lab inventory, analyzer integration, quality control and smart reporting.
The company says every step is tracked, from the moment a patient books a test online to the moment a PDF report reaches their WhatsApp. Doctor referrals are logged and attributed, billing entries are automated and a day-end revenue report is generated without anyone opening a spreadsheet.
For clinics and doctors, it offers OPD and polyclinic management, digital prescriptions with templates, a QR-based booking page that needs no website, patient history across multiple locations and a doctor e-prescription app. The site says 200 or more doctors have been onboarded. It also lists a pharmacy module, an offline desktop version for places with weak internet, and options for franchise management and corporate or B2B clients.
What it costs
Pricing is where ClinikPe is trying to stand out. As of 9 October 2026, 1 PM IST, the homepage says plans start at ₹999 a month, with a 14-day free trial. A banner offers introductory pricing with savings of up to 60 per cent, with the rate locked for up to five years. The pricing page notes that standard renewal pricing may increase by 10 to 15 per cent once the introductory period ends.
The price page lists several tiers across monthly, yearly and one-time options, including yearly plans listed at ₹4,999 and ₹14,999 and a one-time licence listed at ₹19,999. Which tier fits depends on whether a lab needs analyzer integration, offline use or multiple branches, and the site has a short quiz that recommends a plan. Prices change, so a buyer should confirm them on the site before signing up.
How it compares with other tools
The site includes comparison pages against better-known lab software, which is a sign the company is going after labs that already use something. Switching software is the hard part for any lab: staff need training, past reports must be moved over and the analyzers on the bench have to talk to the new system.
Dalimss News has also covered how Indian diagnostics hardware makers are changing the lab bench, including SigTuple's AI microscopy systems. Software like ClinikPe sits on the other side of that bench, handling bookings, billing and reports.
Questions a lab owner should ask
A lab owner thinking about moving should ask how patient data is stored and backed up, whether reports can be exported if they leave, and what support is available in their language. They should also ask which analyzers are on the interfacing list and whether the offline version syncs automatically once the internet returns.
ClinikPe invites labs to book a free demo through its website. Everything here comes from the company's own site and launch statement, viewed on 9 October 2026, and none of its customer numbers have been independently verified by Dalimss News.
