Chhattisgarh's State Council of Educational Research and Training has published the final B.Ed. Round 2, Phase 2 allotment documents dated 10 October 2026. Candidates can check the allotted college, compare the institute-wise list and consult the accompanying opening and closing ranks on the official counselling website.

The release includes a candidate list, an institute-wise list, a cutoff document and a seat matrix showing the position after this allotment. These serve different purposes. A candidate's individual allotment establishes where a seat has been assigned, while the cutoff and vacancy files explain the wider result for each institution and seat category.

There is a date difference that applicants should check before arranging their college visit. The council's original August schedule put publication of the second list in Round 2 on 12 October, with admission from 12 to 15 October. The current final-list documents carry 10 October. The new document pages do not explain whether the reporting window has changed.

Check the final list and your own allotment

The council's official counselling portal carries the B.Ed. result link in its Candidate Activity Board and the downloadable documents under News and Events. Applicants should select the B.Ed. Round 2, Phase 2 entry carefully because the same website also carries D.El.Ed. results and files from earlier allotment stages.

The navigation still contains a notice referring to a revised provisional list. However, the current B.Ed. document titles and the downloadable cutoff and seat-matrix files explicitly identify themselves as final allotment records dated 10 October. Check the heading inside the downloaded file rather than relying only on a saved link or an older screenshot. Save a copy with its date visible so that an earlier provisional version is not mistaken for the latest result.

The NIC user manual describes a registered-candidate sign-in using the candidate's roll number, password and displayed security pin, followed by OTP authentication. Keep access to the registered contact details when checking the account. There is no need to send a password or OTP to another person to read the public college-wise documents.

The same manual explains that choices are tied to eligibility, including the applicable quota, and are saved and locked through the candidate account. A college appearing in a public list is therefore not evidence that it was available to every applicant. The candidate's own submitted preferences and the category of the allotment need to be checked together.

Read cutoffs and vacancies separately

The 25-page opening and closing rank document gives institution, programme, quota and category, followed by opening rank, opening Pre B.Ed. score, closing rank, closing score and the number of allotments. It is a record of this round's allocation, rather than a prediction of the score needed in a later round.

For example, the state open-category entry at Adarsh Mahavidyalaya in Raipur records an opening rank of 232 and closing rank of 2,620, with scores of 67 and 52 respectively, across nine allotments. These figures belong to that particular entry. They should not be read as a single cutoff for the college across all reserved categories or quotas.

The separate post-allotment seat matrix lists total, allotted and vacant seats by institution and seat classification. Its All India unreserved entry for Agrasen College of Education in Durg shows 49 seats, 47 allotted and two vacant. Vacancy information alone does not grant admission; applicants still need the council's applicable procedure.

For reporting, use the instructions attached to the individual allotment and check any subsequent council notice against the original timetable. The publicly accessible final-list pages provide no revised reporting deadline. The earlier schedule remains available under the website's Schedule section, but the date difference makes it particularly important to confirm the applicable instructions before travelling.

Teacher-education admission processes also differ between states and universities. Dalimss News has separately covered Gurugram University's revised B.Ed. and M.Ed. calendar and Jharkhand's special counselling round. Dates or admission options in those reports do not replace Chhattisgarh SCERT's instructions for this allotment.
