VARANASI, INDIA — Popular Bhojpuri actress and singer Akshara Singh, who has been making waves across regional cinema and Bollywood, visited the holy Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi to offer prayers and seek divine blessings ahead of the auspicious month of Sawan.

Arriving at the temple corridor at 7:00 PM, the multi-talented artist performed rituals and paid homage to Lord Shiva. Ahead of Guru Purnima, she expressed her deep spiritual connection to Kashi, describing Baba Vishwanath as the ultimate guiding force in her life and career.

In Kashi for Special Sawan Music Project

Akshara Singh revealed that her visit to Varanasi coincides with the shoot of a special Sawan devotional song. Despite a demanding shooting schedule along the ghats and surrounding areas, she made it a priority to visit the temple before the commencement of the holy month.

She emphasized that visiting the shrine right before Guru Purnima held special significance for her, as she considers Lord Shiva her supreme mentor (Guru).
