NEW DELHI: The Ather Rizta S with the smaller 2.9 kWh battery costs Rs 1,02,060 on-road in Delhi, according to the city-wise price data on Ather Energy's Rizta page. The same scooter costs Rs 1,30,062 on-road in Mumbai and Rs 1,30,004 in Bengaluru, a gap of about Rs 28,000 that comes almost entirely from Delhi's state subsidy. Price as of 22 October 2026, 12:30 AM IST.
Ather lists four Rizta versions in its price data: the Rizta S and the Rizta Z, each with a 2.9 kWh or a 3.5 kWh battery. Ather quotes an IDC range of 123 km for the 2.9 kWh pack and 161 km for the 3.5 kWh pack. The Rizta Z adds more features on top of the S, and the top speed for the family is listed at 80 km/h.

Why Delhi is the cheapest city for a Rizta
Ather's price breakdown starts from a base price of about Rs 1.31 lakh to Rs 1.33 lakh for the Rizta S 2.9 kWh, depending on the city. It then takes off a Rs 5,000 government incentive everywhere, an introductory discount that ranges from about Rs 3,500 to Rs 7,000, and a state subsidy where one applies.
That last line makes the difference. In Delhi, Ather deducts Rs 27,000 as state subsidy on the 2.9 kWh versions and Rs 30,000 on the 3.5 kWh versions. Lucknow gets a Rs 5,000 state deduction. Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata show no state subsidy in the data.
The on-road price then adds insurance of roughly Rs 6,900 to Rs 7,700 and registration charges of a few hundred rupees. Kolkata is the only one of these eight cities where Ather adds a road tax line, of Rs 6,250, which is why it ends up as the most expensive city for every version.
Ather's page also carries a caution: the effective ex-showroom price applies in select cities and is valid for limited stocks only. Ask the dealer to put the final on-road figure, with every deduction shown, on the booking form before you pay.
What AtherStack Pro adds to the bill
None of the figures above include AtherStack Pro, Ather's optional software and warranty pack. Ather prices it at Rs 16,000 on the Rizta S 2.9 kWh, Rs 17,000 on the S 3.5 kWh, Rs 23,500 on the Z 2.9 kWh and Rs 24,500 on the Z 3.5 kWh. With the pack, a Delhi Rizta S 2.9 kWh comes to Rs 1,18,060 and a Bengaluru Rizta Z 3.5 kWh to Rs 1,90,170.
The pack matters for battery cover. Ather's FAQ lists a battery warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km without AtherStack Pro, and 5 years or 60,000 km with it. Pro owners can buy an 8 year, 80,000 km extension for Rs 4,999. Ather says a 10 year option at Rs 8,999 will go on sale soon.
Ather also says every Rizta comes with its Ather Duo charger, which can be wall-mounted at home or carried in the boot and plugged into a 3-pin 6A socket. The company says it runs more than 6,100 Ather Grid fast charging points across 370 cities.
Which Rizta to pick
For short city runs, the 2.9 kWh Rizta S is the value pick, especially in Delhi where the subsidy brings it close to Rs 1 lakh on the road. Buyers who ride long distances every day, or carry a pillion often, should price the 3.5 kWh pack, which costs about Rs 20,000 to Rs 24,500 more on-road across these cities.
