After three continuous days of protest, the atmosphere shifted dramatically as various organizations (sangathan) marked the moment with Holi celebrations following the Supreme Court’s stay order. What had been days of sustained agitation and demonstrations turned into scenes of colour, relief, and collective celebration, symbolising a temporary pause in the movement.

Members of the organizations stated that the Supreme Court’s stay order was seen as a significant development that acknowledged the concerns raised during the protest. The celebration of Holi was not merely festive but symbolic — reflecting hope, unity, and faith in the constitutional process after days of persistent struggle.

Leaders of the sangathan clarified that while the celebration expressed happiness over the stay order, the movement itself is not over. They emphasized that their demands remain intact and that they will continue to closely monitor future developments. The peaceful transition from protest to celebration highlighted the democratic nature of the agitation and the collective resolve to continue the fight for justice through lawful and constitutional means.
