Traffic movement in Varanasi will remain restricted for 64 continuous hours in view of the Sant Ravidas Jayanti celebrations. The city administration has imposed a major traffic diversion from the morning of January 30 till midnight of February 1 on routes leading to the Sant Ravidas Temple at Sir Govardhan.

With a large number of devotees arriving ahead of the celebrations, authorities have barred regular vehicles from entering the temple zone to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety. Several routes including Bhagwanpur, Ramna, Ravidas Gate, Lanka, Naria, and areas near BHU will face diversions, while only vehicles related to the event will be allowed near the temple.

Police and traffic officials have advised commuters to follow diversion plans and use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience during the festival period.
