TN publishes MPT eligible candidates list for 2026-27

The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu, has published the list of eligible candidates for the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course for the 2026-27 session. The PDF, posted under the committee news section, names applicants by application number without declaring ranks, scores or allotment results.

The list runs across multiple pages and includes application numbers in the 26MPT070xxx series, with dozens of names spanning the published sheets. Candidates who applied for MPT should open the file and confirm that their application number and name appear exactly as submitted. Absence from the list means the candidate is not treated as eligible under this publication.

This notice is separate from the PG Allied Health Sciences entrance exam scheduled for 4 October 2026, which Dalimss has already reported with hall-ticket guidance. MPT eligibility publication does not by itself announce an entrance outcome, a rank, or a counselling date.

What the list does and does not say

The document is titled as a list of eligible candidates. It does not publish marks, category ranks or college allotments. Applicants should not read presence on the list as a seat offer. Equally, the list does not explain why a name is missing. Grievance or correction routes, if any, will appear in later Selection Committee notices rather than in this PDF.

Physiotherapy graduates who also applied for other PG Allied Health programmes should check those programme-specific eligible lists separately. The committee has posted parallel lists for courses such as occupational therapy, medical radiology and imaging technology, optometry, nutrition and dietetics, nuclear medicine technology and medical laboratory science on the same portal family. Each file stands alone and does not pull names across courses.

Next steps for listed candidates

Watch tnmedicalselection.net for the MPT rank list, counselling schedule and fee instructions. When counselling opens, the eligible list is usually the first filter before choice filling. Keep BPT degree certificates, internship completion proof, community certificates and identity documents ready in the formats the portal will demand.

If your name is misspelt or your application number looks wrong on the PDF, contact the Selection Committee help lines printed on the prospectus or portal before counselling begins. Screenshot-only complaints without the official PDF page number are harder to process when clerks match records.

Save the PDF filename and the date you downloaded it. If the Selection Committee replaces the file with a corrected list, you will need both versions to show colleges which sheet you relied on when preparing documents.

If you find your name on more than one Allied Health eligible list, treat each course counselling as independent and do not assume a seat in one programme blocks or guarantees another.
