Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G at Rs 49,999
The Pro Max is the battery leader of the three. Xiaomi's page lists a 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery that it claims lasts more than four days of light use, with a 100W charger in the box. Xiaomi says it reaches 36 percent in 20 minutes and a full charge in about 70 minutes, and it supports 27W wired reverse charging.
The page names a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, and the higher variant counts 12 GB of virtual RAM on top of the physical memory. The screen is TrueColour AMOLED with a 3,500 nit peak, the glass is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the phone carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Xiaomi promises 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.
Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G at Rs 36,999
The Pro has a 9,000 mAh battery, which Xiaomi rates at more than three and a half days of typical use, with 67W TurboCharge and a charger in the box. The chip is a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, the memory is LPDDR4X and the storage is UFS 3.1 according to the page, so part of the Pro Max's step up in price is newer memory and storage standards.
The Pro shares the Pro Max's 3,500 nit display claim, its Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and its IP66 to IP69K ratings, and the same 4 plus 6 year update promise. It has 22.5W reverse charging against the Pro Max's 27W.
Redmi Note 17 5G at Rs 27,999
The base Note 17 has an 8,000 mAh battery with 45W charging and 22.5W reverse charging, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip and a 6.9 inch AMOLED screen at 120 Hz with a 2396 x 1080 resolution and a 1,800 nit peak. It is 8.4 mm thick, with Gorilla Glass 7i and IP65 protection.
The rear camera is 50 MP and the selfie camera is 8 MP. Xiaomi says the higher variant has up to 16 GB of RAM including 8 GB of virtual memory. It is the only one of the three without a 3,500 nit panel claim.
