Phoolpur Police Recover Missing 16-Year-Old From Pindra After Three Days

Phoolpur police closed a three-day missing-child alert on Saturday after tracing a 16-year-old student from Pindra Bazar and returning him safely to his family.

According to a Gomti Zone Commissionerate brief, Shaurya Srivastava, also known as Piyush, left for school on 16 September and did not come home that evening. Relatives searched through the night and the following day before lodging a report. Phoolpur registered Case 297/2026 under section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Station House Officer Inspector Ajay Rai Verma put a team on CCTV pulls, field surveillance and the C-Plan policing app. Sub-inspectors Jitendra Yadav and Ram Singh Yadav and constable Ashish Kumar Pal were named in the recovery note. On 19 September the boy was found safe. After formalities he was handed to guardian Pramod Kumar Mathur, who thanked the station for the quick turnaround, the brief said.
