JSW MG Motor India lists the Windsor EV Indulge at Rs 17,99,800 ex-showroom in its official price selector, with Delhi selected. The limited edition sits Rs 85,000 above the Windsor Essence on that list. These are the displayed prices as of 17 October 2026, 5:37 AM IST.

The more revealing comparison is with the Exclusive Pro. MG's main Windsor variant page lists that model at Rs 18,04,800, just Rs 5,000 above the Indulge. A buyer considering the special edition therefore has a closely priced alternative within the same range, with a different battery and equipment package.

Those figures are ex-showroom, rather than a complete on-road bill. MG says its calculator prices are indicative and that the final amount can change with registration charges, insurance and selected accessories. The Delhi selection is not a quotation for every Indian city.

What the edition adds, and the nearby Pro alternative

The Indulge edition page describes Urban Tan and Black seats, themed rear-seat cushions and a neck pillow. Black exterior mirrors and decorative accessories are also shown. Its appeal centres on the cabin and finish. Buyers should inspect the actual combination at the dealership, since the page says availability varies by city and outlet.

The edition brochure identifies the 15.6-inch drop-down PRIVE screen as a dealer-installed accessory included with the vehicle. It also distinguishes the screen and cushions from other accessory entries. A written equipment list matters here: the brochure warns that displayed features and accessories are not standard across every variant.

The Exclusive Pro variant card specifies a 52.9 kWh battery and a claimed 449 km range under MIDC Part 1 plus Part 2 testing. It also lists an ivory-themed cabin, a nine-speaker Infinity audio system and 18-inch dual-tone wheels. That card should be checked on its own terms. Equipment advertised for the more expensive Essence Pro, including Level 2 ADAS, should not automatically be assigned to the Exclusive Pro.

The Indulge uses a 38 kWh battery and a claimed 332 km range. The brochure identifies the test as MIDC Part 1 plus Part 2. That is a certification result, not a promise for a family trip. MG's edition FAQ says actual range varies with driving style, traffic, temperature and climate-control use.

Charging equipment and the home-installation bill

For charging, the Indulge brochure lists a CCS2 connection and 45 kW maximum DC charging. Its estimated 20 to 80 per cent time is 45 minutes at 45 kW. The charger table includes a 3.3 kW portable cable and a 7.4 kW AC charger. The quoted 10 to 100 per cent AC times are approximately 13.5 hours and seven hours respectively; battery condition, charger specifications and ambient temperature can change them.

The separate MG home-charger installation guide makes clear why supplied hardware does not settle the installation bill. The standard package includes basic mounting, testing and commissioning, but its wiring allowance depends on the model and variant. A site survey determines the work required, so buyers need that assessment before treating home charging as ready.

Extra cable, civil work and electrical upgrades can cost more. MG also places the cost of required permits and load enhancement on the customer. The guide requires sufficient spare electrical capacity for the chosen charger and proper earthing. These are checks for the installation partner and the property's electrical setup, rather than work to improvise after delivery.

MG says the standard installation service must be initiated and completed within one year of vehicle delivery. It also warns that cancelling a booking after installation can lead to recovery of the installation-package cost from any eligible refund. There is no single installation-completion deadline for every property.

The lower Rs 13.14 lakh banner is a different purchase arrangement: it adds battery rental of Rs 4.30 per kilometre. The brochure describes BaaS as a financial product, with financier-specific conditions, and says charging electricity is extra. It should not be presented as the battery-included price or a guaranteed total ownership cost.

Dalimss News's earlier Windsor price guide records the standard range before this edition comparison. Our XUV 3XO EV charger-cost report illustrates another quotation detail worth checking across electric cars: whether the charging equipment is included. For the Indulge, the immediate decision is which exact variant and installation scope the written quotation covers.
