MUMBAI: The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV costs Rs 13,88,999 for the AX5 and Rs 14,95,999 for the AX7L, according to the variant and pricing section on Mahindra's official XUV 3XO EV page. Both are ex-showroom prices, price as of 9 October 2026, 7:05 AM IST, and both variant names carry the tag "No Charger", which means the home wall charger is not included.

On Mahindra's own SUV price list, the XUV 3XO EV sits well below the XUV400, which is listed from Rs 17.49 lakh, and with Diwali on 8 November it is one of the electric cars families in the Rs 14 lakh to Rs 15 lakh band will compare. Here is what the two variants offer, what Mahindra claims for range and charging, and what buyers should add to the sticker price.

XUV 3XO EV prices: AX5 and AX7L

Mahindra lists two variants. The AX5 is priced at Rs 13,88,999 and the AX7L at Rs 14,95,999, a difference of Rs 1,07,000. The page's banner rounds this to a starting price of Rs 13.89 lakh and notes that the figure is ex-showroom and excludes the charger and its installation cost.

Mahindra's page also states that prices at the time of delivery will prevail. So a buyer who books today but takes delivery after a price revision pays the revised figure. Registration, insurance and the charger will add to the on-road cost, though several states offer road tax and registration benefits for electric vehicles.

Battery, range and charging

Both variants use a 39.4 kWh battery pack, and Mahindra lists output at 110 kW, or 150 PS, with 310 Nm of torque. The company claims 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and offers three drive modes, which it calls Fun, Fast and Fearless.

On range, Mahindra quotes real-world figures rather than only the certified number. Its FAQ says the XUV 3XO EV covers 270 to 300 km on a charge, based on internal tests, and adds that actual range will depend on driving conditions. Elsewhere on the page, the company says real-world range is up to 285 km.

For fast charging, Mahindra says the battery goes from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes on a 50 kW DC charger. Home charging time will depend on the charger the buyer picks, which is why the "No Charger" tag on both variants matters when comparing quotes.

What the AX7L adds

According to the FAQ on the official page, Level 2 ADAS is offered on the AX7L, with forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and a feature Mahindra calls Smart Pilot Assist. LED fog lamps are also only on the AX7L.

Both variants get full LED projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps with turn indicators and connected LED tail lamps as standard. Rear AC vents are standard too. Mahindra says the XUV 3XO EV offers dual-zone automatic climate control, but it does not get ventilated seats.

The page lists a twin-screen layout with a 26.03 cm infotainment screen and a 26.03 cm digital cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos and seven speakers, a 360-degree surround view system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and built-in Amazon Alexa. Buyers should check the variant brochure to see exactly which of these are fitted to the AX5.

Warranty and running costs

Mahindra says the XUV 3XO EV comes with a three-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty, and an eight-year or 1,60,000 km warranty on the battery and motor, whichever comes first.

Where it fits in Mahindra's line-up

Electric SUVs are a growing part of Mahindra's business, as our report on Mahindra's September 2026 sales and its electric SUV milestone shows. The XUV 3XO EV gives buyers a familiar compact SUV body with an electric drivetrain at a lower price than the brand's larger electric models.

Before booking, ask the dealer for a written on-road quote that lists the charger and installation cost separately, the expected delivery date and any festive benefit on offer. Prices on Mahindra's website can change without notice, and the figures here are as seen on 9 October 2026.
