MG Select has brought the M9 electric MPV and Cyberster roadster to Indore for viewing and bookings at Marriott Hotel, Vijay Nagar. Its 15 October announcement says sales and aftersales activity began on 14 October, giving prospective buyers a local point of contact for the two vehicles.
The company separately plans a dedicated sales and aftersales presence in the city later this year. The hotel announcement should therefore not be read as confirmation that a permanent workshop has opened. It gives neither visiting hours nor an end date for the hotel display.
The announcement names Gaurav Anand as MG Select's Indore dealer partner. It does not identify the permanent facility's address or opening date, so prospective owners still need clarity on where scheduled maintenance and repairs will be carried out.
Current prices and two different uses
Prices as of 17 October 2026, 22:42 IST, were Rs 82.49 lakh for the Cyberster and Rs 79.94 lakh for the M9 on MG Select's official pages. Both are labelled ex-showroom. They do not establish the final Indore on-road bill, and no local discount or delivery promise has been deducted from those figures.
The Cyberster product page lists a 77 kWh battery, 510 PS and 725 Nm, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds. It is the performance-led option in this pairing. The open-top body and low seating position are also reasons to inspect access and everyday usability in person before committing.
Its advertised 580 km range comes from MIDC Part 1 plus Part 2 testing by iCAT. MG warns that driving behaviour, traffic, speed and load affect the result. That figure is a certification claim, rather than a distance Dalimss News has independently achieved on an Indore road trip.
The seven-seat M9 instead centres on passenger space and powered seating. Its official brochure lists a 90 kWh battery and 548 km under the same MIDC Part 1 plus Part 2 procedure. The second-row seats provide heating, ventilation and massage, while electric sliding doors offer a different entry arrangement from the roadster.
One local limitation deserves attention: the M9 brochure restricts emergency roadside mobile charging to Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore, subject to charger availability. It does not extend that specific service to Indore. A national assistance headline should not be taken as a promise that a mobile charging vehicle will reach every city.
Read the battery cover separately
The linked Cyberster and M9 warranty booklets specify three years with unlimited kilometres for privately registered vehicles, excluding wear-and-tear parts. The high-voltage battery has different conditions. The first owner's lifetime cover applies to eligible privately registered retail cars and runs only for the validity of the vehicle's first registration certificate. Demonstration, test-drive, courtesy and commercial cars are excluded from that lifetime provision.
After ownership changes, the battery limit becomes eight years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first, counted from delivery to the original owner. The clock does not restart with a resale. This distinction matters when comparing a new retail car with a dealer demonstrator or a vehicle already registered to somebody else.
The documents also exclude normal battery ageing and routine maintenance costs from warranty cover. Repairs or replacement parts do not extend the original warranty period. Buyers should keep those limits alongside any headline promise when reviewing their quotation and service arrangements.
Confirm the visit before paying
MG Select's online Cyberster booking route begins with customer details, a selected dealership and mobile-number verification. The initial public page does not establish the deposit, cancellation refund or a dated delivery allocation for an Indore customer. MG Select lists 18005700000 as its contact number. Confirm the display's visiting hours and which outlet will handle servicing, then obtain the booking conditions in writing before making a payment.
For readers comparing other MG ownership arrangements, Dalimss News's Windsor Indulge and Pro comparison examines price and charger differences. Its Hector Tomahawk PHEV report covers a separate plug-in-hybrid programme. Those models' battery-rental offers and delivery schedules should not be transferred to an M9 or Cyberster quotation.
