NEW DELHI: The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga costs Rs 8,90,000 to Rs 13,14,100 ex-showroom in India, and its six-seat sibling, the XL6, costs Rs 11,62,300 to Rs 14,67,500, according to Maruti Suzuki's official price pages. The Ertiga is sold through Arena showrooms in nine versions, and the XL6 through Nexa showrooms in seven. Price as of 23 October 2026, 2:00 AM IST, on Maruti's Ertiga and XL6 price pages.
Both are starting prices for each version. Maruti says dual-tone paint can cost extra and that the price and scheme in force on the date of invoice will apply.

Smart Hybrid petrol automatic: Zeta AT Rs 12,97,300, Alpha AT Rs 13,93,800 and Alpha Plus AT Rs 14,67,500.
S-CNG manual: Zeta CNG Rs 12,60,800.
Same pricing logic on both
Maruti prices the two models the same way. The six-speed automatic costs Rs 1,35,000 more than the matching manual on every Ertiga and every XL6 version. Choosing S-CNG over the petrol manual adds Rs 98,500 on the Ertiga VXi, the Ertiga ZXi and the XL6 Zeta. Neither model offers a CNG automatic.
The cheapest automatic seven-seater in the pair is the Ertiga VXi AT at Rs 11,30,300. The cheapest XL6, the Zeta MT, costs Rs 60,800 more than an Ertiga ZXi manual.
Engine and seating
Both models use Maruti's 1462 cc K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine. The Ertiga's specification table rates it at 75.8 kW at 6,000 rpm and 136.8 Nm at 4,400 rpm on petrol, falling to 64.6 kW and 121.5 Nm in CNG mode. The XL6 table also lists 75.8 kW at 6,000 rpm on petrol. Both have a 2,740 mm wheelbase and a 5.2 m turning radius.
The key difference is the second row. Maruti lists the Ertiga with seven seats and the XL6 with six, using second-row captain seats with walk-in slide and recline. Maruti's XL6 page also lists front ventilated seats. Six airbags and electronic stability programme with hill hold appear in the safety sections for both models.
The spread inside each range matters too. On the Ertiga, the ZXi+ manual costs Rs 2,89,100 more than the LXi, and the top ZXi+ AT costs Rs 4,24,100 more. On the XL6, the gap from the Zeta MT to the Alpha Plus AT is Rs 3,05,200. Buyers who mainly want an automatic can save the most by stopping at the lowest automatic trim on either model and adding accessories later.
Which one to pick
Families who need the seventh seat, or who want CNG with the lowest price, will find the Ertiga the better value, starting Rs 2,72,300 below the XL6. Buyers who carry four adults more often than seven, and who prefer the Nexa showroom experience, may find the XL6's captain seats worth the premium. Both share running gear, so fuel bills and service needs should be close.
Seven-seat buyers on a lower budget can also look at Mahindra's Bolero range, covered in our Bolero Neo price list, while those looking at diesel seven-seaters can compare our Scorpio Classic and Bolero Neo Plus prices.
Waiting period and on-road price
Maruti's Arena page shows a waiting period of more than two months on Ertiga versions as of this check. Delivery times differ by city, so ask the dealer for a written estimate.
On-road prices will be higher because registration, road tax and insurance are added, and these vary by state. The full lists are on Maruti's official Ertiga price page and the Nexa XL6 price page.
