NEW DELHI: The Maruti Suzuki Dzire costs Rs 6,30,600 to Rs 9,53,700 ex-showroom in India, according to the price list on Maruti Suzuki's Arena website. The range opens with the LXi manual and tops out with the ZXi CNG AGS. Maruti lists 11 versions across petrol and factory-fitted S-CNG, with manual and automatic gearboxes. Price as of 23 October 2026, 2:00 AM IST, on Maruti Suzuki's Dzire price page.

The figures are starting prices for each version, and Maruti notes that dual-tone paint can cost more. The company also says the price and scheme in force on the day of invoice will apply, so a buyer booking now should confirm the figure on the bill.

Maruti Dzire price list, October 2026

Petrol manual: LXi MT Rs 6,30,600, VXi MT Rs 7,27,100, ZXi MT Rs 8,27,700 and ZXi+ MT Rs 8,96,300.

Petrol AMT: VXi AMT Rs 7,72,100, ZXi AMT Rs 8,72,700 and the ZXi+ AMT at Rs 9,41,300, which Maruti describes as the top model.

S-CNG manual: VXi CNG Rs 8,18,100 and ZXi CNG Rs 9,18,700.

S-CNG automatic (AGS): VXi CNG AGS Rs 8,53,100 and ZXi CNG AGS Rs 9,53,700, the most expensive Dzire on the list.

The automatic costs Rs 45,000 more than the manual at VXi level and Rs 45,000 more at ZXi+ level. Choosing CNG over petrol adds Rs 91,000 on both the VXi and the ZXi manual.

Engine and safety

Every Dzire uses the same 1197 cc Z12E petrol engine with idle start-stop. Maruti's specification table rates it at 51.3 kW, or 69.75 PS, at 5,700 rpm and 101.8 Nm at 2,900 rpm in petrol form. The CNG versions run the same engine on gas. Maruti lists six airbags on every version, along with ABS with EBD, brake assist and electronic stability programme in its safety section.

What each step up adds

Maruti's variant cards point to the headline features. The LXi and VXi cards highlight six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, and the dual-tone cabin. At the ZXi level, the cards move to LED headlamps, alloy wheels and push-button start with a smart key, which Maruti lists for the ZXi petrol, ZXi CNG and ZXi CNG AGS. The ZXi+ adds the features most buyers ask about: a 360-degree HD camera, cruise control and an electric sunroof.

That makes the ZXi+ MT at Rs 8,96,300 the cheapest way to get a sunroof and 360-degree camera in a Dzire. It costs Rs 68,600 more than the ZXi MT. There is no ZXi+ CNG on the list, so buyers who want both CNG and the sunroof cannot get them together.

Which Dzire makes sense

For a first car on a tight budget, the LXi at Rs 6,30,600 already carries six airbags. The VXi at Rs 7,27,100 is the starting point for the AMT and CNG options, which makes it the most flexible mid version. High-mileage city users weighing CNG should compare the Rs 91,000 premium with their monthly fuel spend before deciding.

The Dzire overlaps with Maruti's own hatchbacks and compact SUVs on price. Its top versions cost about as much as entry compact SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO, covered in our XUV 3XO price list, and the Hyundai Venue, in our Venue price report. Buyers who want a boot and saloon layout rather than SUV height will find more equipment per rupee in the Dzire.

Waiting period and on-road price

Maruti's price page shows a waiting period of more than two months against every Dzire version as of this check. Delivery timing can differ by city and colour, so ask the dealer for a written estimate when booking, and check whether the colour you want carries a longer wait.

On-road prices add registration, road tax and insurance, which vary by state, so the amount paid will be higher than the ex-showroom figures here. The full list and brochure are on Maruti's official Dzire price page, and test drives can be booked at any Arena showroom.
