Lenovo's Tech Utsav sale is running in India until 16 October, with different cashback rules for different laptop families. The campaign began on 8 October. A check of Lenovo's own store on 11 October found an IdeaPad Slim 3 at Rs 75,491 and a Yoga Slim 7 at Rs 1,14,491, before the separate payment-linked cashback.

The distinction matters when comparing these offers with an instant checkout discount. The amount charged initially can be higher than the eventual cost after an eligible cashback arrives. This is a current price check within an ongoing sale, with the original campaign dates retained.

IdeaPad Slim 3: Rs 75,491 before cashback

The IdeaPad Slim 3 configuration 83K101NBIN was listed at Rs 75,491, price as of 11 October 2026, 9:12 AM IST. The Cosmic Blue model has an Intel Core i5-13420H processor, 16GB DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD. Lenovo says the displayed price includes shipping and taxes.

Its 15.3-inch IPS screen has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 300-nit brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. The panel is non-touch and has an anti-glare finish. Integrated Intel UHD graphics handle the display. Windows 11 Home, Office Home 2024 and one year of accidental-damage protection are listed with the machine.

The product's offer label advertises Rs 5,000 on UPI. Applying that benefit to the displayed laptop price gives Rs 70,491 after cashback, subject to eligibility. Buyers must still account for the initial Rs 75,491 payment. This calculation excludes optional extras and does not claim a completed checkout.

Yoga Slim 7: check the exact OLED panel

The Yoga Slim 7 configuration 83JX00EMIN was Rs 1,14,491, price as of 11 October 2026, 9:12 AM IST. It pairs an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor with integrated Arc 130V graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB SSD. The listed colour is Luna Grey.

This particular model has a 14-inch, 1920 x 1200 OLED screen running at 60Hz. It is non-touch, with 400-nit brightness and 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage in the specification table. Lenovo's broader family description also discusses optional higher-refresh and touchscreen panels. Those features should not be assigned to this configuration.

The Yoga costs Rs 39,000 more than the checked IdeaPad before cashback. Both have the same stated memory and storage capacities, so the difference cannot be explained by RAM or SSD size alone. They also have different processors, graphics and screens. This report uses published specifications and makes no tested battery-life or performance claim.

A bigger screen does not imply a faster panel. Both checked configurations are 60Hz, even though one is IPS and the other is OLED. The verified distinction here is panel technology and size, rather than a higher refresh rate on the dearer model.

Read the cashback conditions before paying

Lenovo's sale terms list Rs 5,000 UPI cashback for IdeaPad Slim 3 models with Intel Core i5 processors. UPI transactions must be Rs 1 lakh or less. Yoga laptops have 10 per cent cashback on eligible credit-card payments, capped at Rs 15,000. The credit-card and UPI benefits cannot be combined, and credit-card cashback excludes EMI transactions.

The terms limit credit-card cashback to one transaction and a maximum of three units per card. Their general note allows up to 30 days after delivery for cashback, although examples elsewhere on the same page mention 20 days. Readers should not rely on the shorter illustration when planning the payment.

Both checked product pages offered an Add to Cart control and displayed shipping by 12 October. That is the store's dispatch indication, not a verified arrival date for every postcode. The IdeaPad page specifically marked store pickup and 24-hour delivery unavailable for that product.

Optional bundles also need attention. The Yoga page offered earbuds as a Rs 1 add-on, while the IdeaPad showed earbuds at Rs 1,599. Neither amount belongs in a laptop-only comparison unless that accessory is selected. Keep the final basket separate from the advertised laptop price.
