BENGALURU: Lenovo's ThinkBook 14x, a 14-inch Copilot+ laptop that starts just under 1kg, is now on sale in India. The company's India product page lists it from Rs 1,09,990 (price as of 8 October 2026, 2:45 PM IST), with Intel Core Ultra processors and an optional 2.8K OLED screen.

The ThinkBook range is Lenovo's line for small businesses and working professionals, a step below the ThinkPad in price and a little more style-led. The 14x is the thin-and-light model of the family, and Lenovo is also pitching it at students who carry a laptop all day.

ThinkBook 14x price in India and configurations

Rs 1,09,990 is the starting figure on the product page. Lenovo's online store also lists four ready-built models, all with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD (price as of 8 October 2026, 2:45 PM IST):

Core Ultra 5 with Windows 11 Home costs Rs 1,14,991. The Core Ultra 5 with Windows 11 Pro and the Core Ultra 7 with Windows 11 Home are both Rs 1,34,991. The Core Ultra 7 with Windows 11 Pro is Rs 1,59,990. You can also build your own configuration on Lenovo.com, and the price moves with each choice.

Delivery estimates on the listing differ by model. One configuration showed free shipping by Friday, 9 October, while others showed dates as late as 28 October. Check the date against your PIN code before you order, especially if the laptop is a Diwali gift.

The Windows 11 Pro models cost Rs 20,000 to Rs 24,999 more than the Home versions with the same chip. Most home users and students will not need Pro. Office buyers who manage devices centrally will.

Screen, chip and battery

Lenovo offers three 14-inch panels. The top one is a 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED with 500 nits brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, full DCI-P3 colour coverage and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. The other two are WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS screens at 400 nits and 120Hz, one with touch and one without. Listings do not always say which panel a model carries, so check the display line before paying.

Processors go up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, with Intel Arc 140V graphics and a neural processing unit rated at up to 48 TOPS, which is what qualifies the laptop for Microsoft's Copilot+ features. Memory goes up to 32GB of LPDDR5x. This type of memory is fixed to the board, so pick the amount you need on day one.

Storage is more flexible. There are two SSD slots, one full-size 2280 and one shorter 2242, both PCIe Gen 4, with up to 1TB fitted from the factory. Battery options are 54.7Wh and 65Wh. Lenovo does not publish a battery-life figure on the India page, so treat any hours claim from a retailer with care.

Design, ports and who it suits

The laptop is 12.9mm thick at its thinnest point and starts at 990g. For ports, Lenovo lists two USB-C (10Gbps), two USB-A (5Gbps, one of them always on for charging a phone), a full-size HDMI 2.1 port that supports 4K at 60Hz, and a headphone and mic combo jack. Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E is offered depending on configuration, with Bluetooth up to 5.4.

The webcam is a Full HD hybrid IR unit with a privacy shutter, so Windows Hello face unlock works. Audio comes from two 2W speakers with Dolby Atmos. The standard colour is Luna Grey, and Lenovo lists Mystic Violet and Veil Blue as special editions.

The ThinkBook 14x makes most sense for people who move between home, office and client meetings and still want HDMI and USB-A without a dongle. At this price it competes with premium thin laptops from every major brand, including the Surface Laptop Ultra that Microsoft has opened for pre-order.
