NEW DELHI: The Kia Syros starts at Rs 8,41,900 ex-showroom in India, and its seven trims start between Rs 8,41,900 for the HTE and Rs 14,99,900 for the HTX (O), according to Kia India's official Syros page. The Syros is a five-seat SUV under four metres long, with a turbo petrol and a diesel engine, and Kia says it holds a five-star Bharat NCAP rating. Price as of 23 October 2026, 2:00 AM IST, on Kia India's Syros page.

Each figure is the "Starting MSRP" for that trim, the price of its cheapest engine and gearbox. Other combinations in the same trim can cost more, and Kia's configurator lists the exact price for each.

Engines

Kia lists two engines. The Smartstream G1.0 T-GDi turbo petrol makes 120 PS and 172 Nm, and the D1.5 CRDi VGT diesel makes 116 PS and 250 Nm. Kia's page does not publish ARAI fuel efficiency figures and asks buyers to check them with a dealer.

Safety

Kia says every Syros has six airbags and a 20-feature safety package as standard, and that the top trim adds Level 2 ADAS with 16 functions. The company cites a five-star Bharat NCAP rating for the Syros on the same page.

What each trim adds

The HTE card lists a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-inch LCD cluster with a 4.2-inch colour display, LED front fog lamps and the standard safety pack. The HTE (O) adds a sunroof, 16-inch crystal-cut alloys and two tweeters.

The HTK (EX) moves to LED headlamps with Starmap LED DRLs and tail lamps, auto-folding mirrors and a rear camera with dynamic guidelines. The HTK+ adds 60:40 rear seats that slide and recline, cruise control with a speed limiter and a rear defogger, with an electric parking brake, smart key and paddle shifters on automatics. The HTK+ (O) lists a smart key with push-button start on every version and a rear wiper.

The HTX brings a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon system, front ventilated seats, a four-way powered driver seat, 17-inch alloys, a dual-camera dash cam and a wireless charger. The HTX (O) adds a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 5-inch climate touchscreen, ventilated rear seats, OTA updates and the Level 2 ADAS package.

Kia says the Syros comes in nine colours, and the trim cards show shades such as Frost Blue, Ivory Silver Gloss, Gravity Gray and Imperial Blue across the range. Check the configurator for the exact colours offered on each trim before booking, since it shows the full list for every version.

Which Syros to choose

The HTE (O) at Rs 9,21,900 is the cheapest Syros with a sunroof and alloy wheels. The HTK+ is the practical middle, since it brings the sliding and reclining rear seats Kia highlights. ADAS buyers need the HTX (O), the most expensive trim.

Inside Kia's range, the Syros starts Rs 97,000 above the Sonet, which starts at Rs 7,44,900, and below the Seltos at Rs 11,24,900. Outside Kia, it competes with the Mahindra XUV 3XO, covered in our XUV 3XO price list, and the Hyundai Venue in our Venue price report.

On-road prices will be higher because registration, road tax and insurance are added and vary by state. Ask the dealer for a quote on the exact engine and gearbox. Full details are on Kia India's official Syros page.
