NEW DELHI: The Kia Carens Clavis costs Rs 11,38,900 to Rs 21,78,900 ex-showroom, according to the trim list on Kia India's website. The HTE seven-seater is the cheapest at Rs 11,38,900, and the GTX+ and X LINE trims are the dearest at Rs 21,78,900. Kia lists 13 trims, and each price is the starting figure for that trim after the GST cut. Price as of 24 October 2026, 8:15 AM IST.

Kia shows a "Starting MSRP" for each trim. A trim can come with more than one engine and gearbox, so the price you pay for a given engine or automatic can be higher than the starting figure. Ask the dealer for the exact version price before booking.

What each step adds

The HTE (EX) at Rs 12,85,900 is the cheapest trim with the sky-light electric sunroof according to Kia's feature list. The HTK+ at Rs 16,43,900 adds roof rails, front parking sensors, cruise control with a speed limiter and auto-fold mirrors.

The HTX at Rs 19,00,900 brings the larger 12.25-inch display and 12.25-inch instrument cluster, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera and a cabin air purifier with an air quality display. The HTX (O) at Rs 19,61,900 adds a BOSE sound system with eight speakers, and the HTX+ at Rs 19,03,900 is the first trim Kia lists with ADAS Level 2 (on the dual-clutch version), ventilated front seats and the six-seater captain-seat layout. Note that the HTX+ is listed Rs 58,000 below the HTX (O), so buyers who want ADAS and captain seats do not need the dearer trim.

The GTX at Rs 19,99,900 and GTX+ at Rs 21,78,900 add black leatherette seats and lime brake calipers, with the GTX+ adding ADAS, front ventilated seats and a digital key. The X LINE costs the same as the GTX+ and adds a Dark Gun Metal colour option with hunter green seat accents.

Engines, safety and seating

Kia's page lists three engines. The SmartStream G1.5 petrol makes 84.4 kW and 143.8 Nm, the G1.5 T-GDi turbo petrol makes 117.5 kW and 253 Nm, and the 1.5-litre CRDi diesel makes 85 kW and 250 Nm. CNG is offered on the HTE and HTE (O) trims. Gearbox options on the page include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic and a dual-clutch automatic (DCT).

Kia says every Clavis has 18 standard safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control and a rear occupant alert. The ADAS Level 2 suite, with 20 autonomous features, is listed on the higher trims only.

Most trims are seven-seaters. The HTX+ lists second-row captain seats for a six-seater layout, according to the feature list.
