HTET 2026 Qualifying Status Goes Live; Biometric Checks Set for August 10–12

The Board of School Education Haryana has made the HTET 2026 qualifying status available online and published the final answer keys for all three levels, moving the teacher-eligibility examination into its biometric-verification stage.

Candidates can use the official HTET portal at htet.eapplynow.com to check whether they have qualified for verification. The login requires the details requested by the portal, including the candidate's registration or application information and date of birth. Applicants should use the official address directly and avoid result links circulated through unofficial messages.

The HTET 2026 qualifying status is not the final employment outcome. HTET establishes eligibility for teaching categories covered by the examination; recruitment still depends on the rules, vacancies and selection process of the appointing authority. A status showing qualification for biometric verification means the candidate must complete the next identity-check stage.

Biometric verification is scheduled from August 10 to August 12, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Qualified Haryana-domicile candidates are expected to report to the designated centre in their home district. Candidates from outside Haryana should attend the centre in the first exam city they selected, subject to the instructions issued by the board.

The board's directions require original documents at the centre. Candidates should carry the original HTET admit card and at least one original government-issued photo identity document. A photocopy, scan stored on a phone or other digital copy is not a substitute for the original ID. Candidates should also re-check their allocated venue shortly before travelling because the board can revise arrangements when required.

The final answer keys are an important companion to the status display. The provisional key was released after the July examination and candidates were allowed to submit objections. The newly published final keys reflect the board's decision after that challenge process. Where a candidate is comparing responses, the final key—not a coaching-centre version—should be treated as authoritative.

HTET was conducted in pen-and-paper mode on July 4 and 5 for three categories: Level I for primary teachers, Level II for trained graduate teachers and Level III for postgraduate teachers. A total of 233,294 candidates registered, including 166,137 women and 67,157 men.

The postgraduate-teacher paper covered 73,091 candidates at 238 centres. The trained-graduate-teacher examination involved 119,141 candidates across 383 centres, while 41,062 candidates were registered for the primary-teacher paper at 139 centres. Those figures show the scale of the verification and result exercise now facing the board.

Under the stated qualifying standard, general-category candidates and candidates from outside Haryana need at least 90 marks out of 150, or 60 per cent. Haryana-domicile candidates in eligible reserved categories need 82 marks, equivalent to about 55 per cent. Candidates should rely on the category recorded in their application and the board's rules rather than assume a relaxation applies.

Anyone unable to access the result should first confirm the level selected, date-of-birth format and registration details. Repeated attempts through third-party websites can create confusion or expose personal information. Screenshots can be retained for reference, but they do not replace the documents required at verification.

The release gives candidates a short preparation window before the August 10 start. Successful applicants should download or save their status, examine the final key, arrange original ID and admit card, and verify the centre. Completing those procedural steps on time is essential even though the qualifying status itself is now visible.
