Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak has moved round-two document verification for open-category BSc Nursing candidates from October 26 to October 30. Its October 23 notices give candidates until 4 pm on October 31 to join the allotted institution.

The revised schedule concerns candidates allotted or upgraded to seats who have successfully paid the applicable provisional tuition fee through the admission portal. Those whose college, course and category remain unchanged in round two need not appear. The timetable supersedes the university's October 16 public notice, numbered 9573.

Rohtak reporting and documents

Verification is at Sushruta Auditorium, UHS Rohtak. BSc Nursing management-category candidates report at 8:30 am on October 27; BPT and allied-health candidates at 8:30 am on October 28. October 29 has Post Basic BSc Nursing at 8:30 am and MPT at 10:30 am. Open-category BSc Nursing reporting is 8:30 am on October 30.

Candidates must attend personally with relevant originals and two sets of photocopies. The October 23 direction refers them to the university's September 16 document checklist.

That checklist includes proof of date of birth, three recent passport-size photographs, a character certificate, identification, the application printout, provisional-tuition-fee payment proof and the CET-2026 result card. Qualification, professional-registration, experience and employer documents apply according to the course and the candidate's circumstances. Residence and category claims require the relevant certificates.

For BC-A and BC-B candidates, the creamy or non-creamy-layer certificate must cover 2026-27 and have been issued on or after April 1, 2026. The EWS income-and-asset certificate has the same year and issue-date requirements. Parivar Pehchan Patra is mandatory for candidates claiming the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme. Ex-servicemen claims require the Zila Sainik Board certificate, countersigned by the Rajya Sainik Board in Panchkula; disability claims need a certificate from the competent authority.

Haryana-domicile candidates who passed Class 12 outside the state need the prescribed, attested parent or guardian affidavit when claiming Haryana residence benefits. The checklist warns that missing required documents mean candidature will not be considered and the provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled and says an undertaking will not substitute for a deficient document. Its older instruction mentions one photocopy set; the new schedule asks for two.

Uttarakhand pharmacy deadline

In a separate October 23 order, Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University has allowed final institution-level pharmacy counselling up to October 30. It covers first-year B.Pharm, Pharm.D, Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) and M.Pharm admissions, along with second-year lateral entry to B.Pharm, at affiliated private pharmacy institutions.

The university order follows requests from institution representatives who met the university on October 14 about seats remaining vacant after earlier counselling. It also cites a Pharmacy Council of India member's communication about the Supreme Court's admission deadline.

Institutions must complete registration of newly admitted students on the university portal by October 30. The specified charge is Rs 3,800 per student: Rs 2,000 counselling fee, Rs 1,500 enrolment fee and Rs 300 registration fee. The university says previously issued admission guidelines and conditions continue to apply to the final institution-level counselling exercise. Payment is to be made on the portal at the time of registration.

Law registration runs to October 31

The university's separate law-course notice, also dated October 23, opens registration from October 23 to October 31 for newly admitted first-year LL.B, BA LL.B and BBA LL.B students. Affiliated institutions must complete the process on the university's online counselling portal for the 2026-27 session.

The notice applies to institutions holding Bar Council of India recognition or approval for that session. Those still awaiting it can participate only if they obtain it before October 31. The university says new admissions will not be considered where approval is absent before the deadline or arrives after it, with responsibility resting on the institution.

Each institution must submit an affidavit on Rs 10 stamp paper, accompanied by details of the students admitted. It must undertake to complete teaching on time and comply with the institution's, university's and regulator's standards and rules. The notice places responsibility for any shortcoming on the institution.
