GURUGRAM: Gurugram University will accept online applications from 15 to 20 October for vacant BPharm seats. Its 14 October notice makes physical attendance on 22 October compulsory, including for consideration in subsequent rounds.

Applicants must use the university’s Samarth admission portal. The rank list is due on 21 October. Reporting is by 9:30 am the next day at Room 205, second floor, Academic Block 1, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sector 87 campus, Kankrola.

Counselling within the merged reserved categories runs until 2 pm on 22 October; the unreserved stage follows. EWS and tuition-fee-waiver seats will be considered concurrently. An open round is listed for 28 October only if vacancies remain. The notice gives no vacancy count.

Applicants must bring originals and a set of self-attested copies. The checklist includes the university application, school marksheets, relevant certificates and valid photo identification.

How the merit order works

The selection order comes from Haryana State Technical Education Society instructions dated 13 October. Institutions must first use the rank in the 2026 Online Common Entrance Test. Only thereafter can they use merit based on aggregate qualifying-examination marks in chemistry, physics and biology or mathematics. Applying without an entrance-test rank does not put a candidate ahead of ranked applicants.

HSTES says a candidate moving to a newly allotted institution must first have any earlier admission cancelled. Its help route for cancellation difficulties is 1800-137-3735 or onlineadmissionhelp@gmail.com. The receiving institution must check that the previous seat has been cancelled before admitting the candidate.

Once documents are checked and admission formalities completed, the institution must upload the admission and give the candidate a provisional admission slip. The statewide final admission cut-off is 30 October. That outer limit does not replace Gurugram University’s earlier application and reporting dates.

For Haryana applicants, HSTES directs institutions to verify reservation, income and other relevant details through PPP records. Categories unavailable on that database may be verified physically under the prospectus.

The HSTES 2026-27 prospectus requires a recognised Class 12 qualification with English and physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology as the specified subjects, or a qualification accepted as equivalent by the Pharmacy Council of India. This is admission to the full BPharm course; the prospectus treats entry directly into the second year as a separate route.

For tuition-fee-waiver seats, the prospectus sets a parental annual-income ceiling of ₹8 lakh from all sources, verified through the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra database. Such seats are additional to the approved intake and subject to the scheme’s conditions. Eligibility for a waiver does not itself secure admission or confirm that a waiver seat remains vacant.

The prospectus requires original qualification, merit and applicable category documents for verification, together with character and medical-fitness certificates. It says original certificates must be returned after checking and cannot be retained by the institution. Applicants should use the university’s current notice for its complete reporting checklist.

Published fees and payment stages

The university’s 2026-27 brochure lists first-year BPharm fees of ₹62,970, split into ₹36,295 for the odd semester and ₹26,675 for the even semester. These are published course fees as of 14 October 2026, 4:36 pm IST, rather than a personalised payment demand for this counselling round.

The first-year total includes ₹25,000 tuition, ₹9,620 common charges, ₹16,240 university-development fees and ₹12,110 for fieldwork, laboratory and other charges. Looking only at the tuition figure would therefore understate the published annual cost. The brochure says examination fees are included in annual fees.

The listed annual totals rise to ₹67,470 in the second year, ₹72,970 in the third and ₹78,970 in the fourth. Together, the four published annual figures add up to ₹2,82,380. Applicants should distinguish the first instalment from the cost across the degree.

For withdrawal, the university asks candidates to submit the prescribed refund form, with relevant documents, through the department chairperson. Its brochure says the refund policy is subject to government or UGC changes.
